something i just thought about, but in timebreaker wouldn't past marinette running up to confront ladybug in her regular ID be kind of bad since if she HAD been an imposter, then marinette's secret would've been blown wide open? i just wanted to share that with someone bc its really bugging me now.
I’m guessing when the kids split up they went everywhere other than the stairs (because ugh stairs) so Marinette got lucky when she made a break for it. The REAL problem, though, is that Chat saw her getting ready to jump down and transformed. Wouldn’t his first thought be to get up there (maybe with his extendy-rod, or a superhero jump) to understand the villain and come up with a plan? So it’s kind of interesting how Chat almost discovered Lady’s identity, but oh well. As others have said before me, this episode may have convinced people in-universe that Marinette couldn’t possibly be Ladybug.
