Nobody really knows what specifically about removing a goliath’s helmet causes them to fly into an uncontrollable rage (because chances are if you’re close enough to ask during you’re about to die), but it’s been hypothesized that goliaths are extremely light-sensitive to the point where even moderate amounts of light hitting their eyes all at once is agonizing and throws their brain into a fucking RAGE OVERDRIVE until a) they become too tired to move anymore or b) their lil heads are safely contained in their nice dark helmets again. It’s unclear whether or not removing a goliath’s helmet in very dim lighting or darkness might enrage them and no one really wants to risk finding out

The first time they witnessed Krieg set himself on fire and charge into battle the other Vault Hunters were horrified and fully expected him to come out of it covered head to toe in grotesque burns (if not dead altogether). They were shocked that afterwards not only was the damage to his skin incredibly minimal (no worse than a sunburn), it had healed itself within a few hours

What do you think would anger Krieg the most?

I would probably say any torment/harm towards innocent lives or the few people he can actually consider friends, particularly Maya (especially Maya. If something happened to her he’d tear Pandora apart)

Skags don’t seem to be entirely mammalian nor reptilian (to be expected seeing as they are an alien lifeform). However it has been surmised on occasion that they may be most similar to synapsids, the “proto-mammals” of ancient Earth

When the Vault Hunters first came to Sanctuary Moxxi would make some passing flirtatious remarks to Krieg (he may be a psycho but goddamn if those aren’t the finest abs on Pandora) but she quickly stopped once she realized that he didn’t seem to notice and was already completely enamored with Maya

One time Krieg got a little too affectionate and left a big-ass hickey on Maya’s neck. She didn’t notice until she went down for breakfast and the others kept snickering into their coffees

Skag pups are born in dull, earthy shades of brown/sometimes black to help camouflage them against predators. They may or may not change color as they grow

As I mentioned before in an older post I headcanon the leech/isopodlike scythids seen in BL1 are actually in their larval state and their adult form is the pack-hunting “sprinter” scythid. After reaching an appropriate age (and when environmental conditions are satisfactory) a scythid larva will gorge itself on food and burrow into the ground, going into a pupal state comparable to hibernation that typically lasts several Earth months, after which they’ll emerge from the ground as sprinters

However they appear to be more fragile and less adaptable than other Pandoran fauna - after the opening of the Vault triggered the rapid growth of Eridium across Pandora, the sudden changes it brought about in the environment, combined with mining for the element destroying large portions of habitat as well as pupal scythid burrows, caused the species to begin dying out en masse. By the events of BL2 scythids have become extinct in many parts of Pandora and are considered to be very rare and critically endangered
