Bordered Patchipillars are now Bordered Patch Butterflies! Only three chrysalids left, after releasing 10 butterflies this weekend. These were fun and SO EASY! The caterpillars eat sunflower leaves and grow very fast.

Guys, I finally learned the plural of chrysalis. It’s chrysalids. As in, check out my Bordered Patchipillars who are forming adorable calico chrysalids all over their tank. These babies can absolutely destroy a sunflower, I am in awe. A fun and easy species to raise! June 5, 2018
