Dear Diary, how do I social link up the egocentric police dick aka @boreish?
Blind, Not Brave. –
Dr. Alana Bloom was miles from home. Inaba seems like some magical place compared to the hustle and bustle of Baltimore, overpopulated and full of crime. At the end of the day, crime was just that. Another series of murders needed to be solved. That's where the consultant profiler came into play. Detective Ryotaro Dojima gave her a sullen glare, his temper shorter than his dying cigarette. The local police unrelentingly handed over the case files to Alana. She kept the paper trail tucked underneath her arm while she walked.
Dojima's partner was a twitchy man, disheveled with a horrible slouch. It made her worry for her posture. It can't be me that's making him nervous. Another cold case couldn't have helped the relationship of two detectives. She knew from being a witness in court countless times.
❝He's a serial killer. A male, if I'm not mistaken. Forgive me for stereotyping, but his technique lacks a feminine touch. It's lazy.❞
She smiled, as if she made a wisecrack.
