I never do this but I watched TEMPTATION ISLAND at my friend's house the other day and it's such a trash show with trash people but to think that people like this exist... yes, it's a reality show so to an extent it's scripted but it's just ADULTERY on screen??? shante getting back with brion was such an all time self drag on her... It was hard to watch because you can tell she loves him to the point that she's willing to leave the island with him as a couple despite him having a threesome????? then she's like "after I heard that you were disrespectful to (some girl in the house's name) I felt so bad for her and worried for you if that's how you treat women" SHANTE??? YOU'RE THE FUCKING GIRL HE'S BEING DISRESPECTFUL TO??? then she leaves like "I need to respect myself" uhhhhhh yeah you do but you're doing the opposite of that. I was so embarrassed for her like she's so blinded by love that she will see a man cheating on her with two women (probably more) and she'd still go back to him. I don't think this show is 100% real but I do know that men will definitely cheat on you given the chance and to even question that is so dumb...

I'm sorry, but I hate when they make kids righteous and annoying in horror movies like the son in the first purge grinded my gears so bad. don't make me hate a child but literally when they kick up a fuss about picking up a hitchhiker or saving a random stranger like you're TEN YEARS OLD these are not your problems... just go home and play roblox or something you do not need to care about the bleeding lady on the side of the road right now

finally got to watch "bring her back" on prime and mannnnnnnn it was good. It's so fucking grotesque and uncomfortable, and as outlandish it is to perform a ritual to bring people back from the dead it's still believable lmfao... that seems like a running theme that feels very similar to their previous work of "talk to me" which is that I can see the horror that comes with grief. It can push people to believe in scary things and do scarier things, and it's this overarching umbrella of sadness that drives the story and makes it compelling. not to mention sally hawkins was in this like come awnnnnnnn... It was so creepy and gory but I loved it. It almost feels of the same alley as hereditary just because the atmosphere of it is tense and sad, and there's not a lot of sudden jump scares but the scenes stay with you. I would definitely say this was one of the scarier movies I've seen this year and it lived up to my expectations especially coming out after the success of talk to me. 8.5/10 easy

I personally don't think cheongah became cold or had that outburst to yichan because she thinks she deserves better, or that she's realizing he doesn't like her... because he clearly cares about her and she knows that. he spots her in the crowd and asks if she wants a tour of the school, he faxes her asking if she's okay when he doesn't see her at the festival, he goes to her HOUSE and waits for her in fear that something could be wrong. he wears the guitar pick she got for him as a necklace. she's not distancing herself away from him because she's hurt that he likes sekyung because she already knew that. she knew that before she confessed, and was okay with being the person with a crush. she had hope (and rightfully so) that sekyung liked eungyeol and would choose him at the end of the performance, and she was happy knowing that sekyung would be with someone she liked. she didn't expect sekyung to tell her that she'd be choosing yichan, so she gave him up for her sake. cheongah is the kindest, most selfless person ever and she considers sekyung a good friend, if not the ONLY one that reached out to her in a school where nobody did. both as the real sekyung, and now eunyu. as heartbreaking as it is for her she'd would rather be sad herself than to be in the middle of two people, no less two of her friends who (she thinks) likes each other.

watching kang haneul's new thriller "wall to wall" on netflix and it's kind of mid. I love this man, but he's always in some distressing down on his luck role when he should be superman or something. the movie itself drags on and it's pivoted from mystery to straight up murder. I don't even understand what's going on anymore like.... this movie isn't that compelling at all nor is it scary. It's just strange and maybe it's a realistic approach on how it is to be house poor (minus killing someone) but the things he has to go through just to be a homeowner? why didn't he just buy a smaller flat and in part maybe it's a story on how human greed has no bounds but it's kind of miss for me. I think kang haneul's character is a dumbass but he's a good actor nonetheless so 4/10

started reading stephen king's the outsider and it's pretty good... I honestly feel like the writing style of his books are a hit or miss for me but basically as far as I've gotten, the book revolves around a horrific murder of a child. It's one of the worst murders they've seen in this town and they have some DAMNING evidence that his baseball coach did this. except this coach is well known around town as a nice person with a great family image and once they arrest him he has a solid alibi for being away during the time of the murder. so it's a quest for the truth sort of situation and it's not so much horror but it is good at least 1/5th of the way in. I'll keep everyone posted.

I'm pretty sure whatever traumatizing thing that happens to both sol and sunjae in the past will still happen in the future regardless of what they do. however, I don't think sunjae will die, and their relationship itself will not end in tragedy either. there's still a lot of story to delve into but all these preventative measures sol does serve as fodder to create memories between the two of them, to help them fall in love, and for them to be apart of each other's lives in order for them to heal and to persevere and continue living THROUGH their own respective rough patches. this drama feels similar to "twinkling watermelon" based on the time slips and the lead's goal of changing the future for the better... so I think sol and sunjae will still be sad and hurt to an extent over the same periods of their lives but they won't be alone through them which is the whole point of love wins all. even if I'm wrong about all this, I won't let sunjae die let me tell you

I think there are a lot of sad scenes in lovely runner, but that scene at the end of episode 4 when they reveal sunjae's perspective of the radio call actually made me cry. clearly, at that time, and I can surmise for an extended period of time sunjae and sol were no longer talking, and they surely didn't have a very intimate relationship in high school originally. It's obvious sunjae still thinks about sol after becoming a celebrity. for the amount of time he spent quietly watching her and having a crush on her in school, it would not be surprising to know that after sol's accident he was still around her, albeit in secret. he purposely called her wanting to have some sort of solace in her remembering him, or at least to hear her be the cheerful and preppy sol he first fell in love with but when he asked her if she knew who he was, rather than just saying no she basically said, I don't care who you are. sunjae's intention, his hope, and ultimately his heartbreak is so visceral like this scene is literally 35 seconds long but it easily makes me want to sob. the tone when he says her name in his head, and he, who is already ridden with guilt feels even more dejected than he already is, it makes sense why sunjae wanted to kill himself... these little bits and pieces really pave the way to showcase how sad and lonely and how horrible sunjae would've felt, especially seeing as he probably feels like he's the one to blame for sol becoming like this. I'm sorry but this scene is actually so fucking sad like it's episode FOUR officer!!!!!!!!
