I love Boreo as much as the next guy, but can we like also talk about the other characters, or even just Theo alone, and the actual book???

This isn't me trying to police anyone who loved that aspect of the book btw (if you look at my reblogs for like half a second you'll see i did so myself) I just think as fandom in general we center Boris and Theo's relationship to an extent that overshadows everything else there is to love (or hate) about the book.

Sometimes it makes my day to find a rant post like one i saw the other day about the painting being Theo's heart. I think those are wonderful conversations to have and I just wish we had a more equal balance between Boreo content and that sort of thing

Theo's mom being described with black hair and freckles. Theo having 2 love interests in his life : one described with plenty of freckles, one with black raven hair. This is not a coincidence 🤫
