Okay so I have a Idea.

Everybody thinks that Kai hiwatari is the ultimate tsundere. So imagine everyone's shock when they find out that instead of being a tsundere he is simply just not good at showing feelings.

It's not like that because he is purposely hiding his feelings, he himself literally don't know half of the time what emotions he is feeling.

And I bet, once he learns how to, he will show his affection and feelings with his actions. Whoever he will fall in love with will have constant reminders from him about his love for them.

Also his love language is physical touch and gift giving. No, you cannot convince me otherwise.
