A rhinoceros hornbill checks out a hole in the tree to see if it’d make a good nesting place. This is a #repost from @bradjosephsphotos via @PhotoAroundApp A #rhinoceroushornbill inspects a potential nesting hole in tree on the banks of the #kinabatanganriver in #sabah #borneo. The male will seal the female into the hole with mud and leave a hole just big enough to pass her food until the chicks fledge.
