So I figured you might wanna know that I just got my hands on a copy of how (not) to ask a boy to prom, devoured the entire book in one afternoon, and spent a not insignificant portion of the later chapters quietly crying and wanting to punch everyone in the face who'd ever made Nolan Grant Sheffield sad.

Hypothesis: in a universe where Laurent succeeds in his treachery and kills Auguste, he is so destroyed by his regret when it finally catches up with him that he seeks out a magic cave and wishes desperately for a world where he did not murder his own brother... and ends up in the canon universe. (Along with a young naive Damen who wishes his father and brother had lived longer, perhaps?)

Ya’ll desperately trying to make this story happier hahaha. You may believe that, if that’s what helps you sleep hahahaha.

Kevin is trying to use TACT and knows his audience, he’s trying to modify his customs to make them meaningful to both of them okay?? Besides Johnny doesn’t know where Kevin finds his gifts...

Imagine, if you will, Johnny and Kevin having their first child. And Johnny watches on, nervous and proud, as Kevin gently lowers their child into a pile of trash.

Ooooh he’s holding them in place. So even if he’s, you know, distracted poking at his new hoard and not blocking pucks, it’s better than having the other players trying to score goals on you or being able to defend their own net. (Does the other goalie have to go on an expedition to save his teammates?)

The real battle is getting the goalie to give up the player you want instead of just stealing the new one too. (Also “slide in there!” XD)
