                              a sigh. god, he really is clueless sometimes, huh? “no, you can stay as long as you want. i just meant...i thought you wouldn’t, you know...want to.” it sounds stupid when he says it out loud, baring his insecurities for all to see, but he would hate for grant to misunderstand him and put a dent in their already confusing relationship...whatever that relationship is.  //  @bornmonster // cont.

it was merely a coincidence. years had passed since she had last seen her long lost friend who randomly disappeared without a trace. no one in their town seemed to care after a few months, stating that maybe he was just a troubled kid and ran away for good reason. orion always thought that theory was bullshit but for some odd reason, she had never thought to look for him. 

now, grant’s name only crossed her mind every now and then. she was far too busy going to art school and picking up any jobs she could get. right now, she was situated in some random state, working in research for an animation company she was currently interning at. orion had arrived late the previous night and now found herself in a quaint little diner. she didn’t even notice the mop of curls that were so familiar to her as her eyes scanned over the menu...
