Camp STITCHES New Mexico is half way through so we wanted to post some progress photos of our FAB group of students who have names themselves the Sashiko Sisters #girlgang ✊🏼These photos are their boro bags pre-Sashiko stitches with the @michaelmillerfabrics patches arranged and basted to the bag body. Note in the photos we had one who decided to use her boro skills on the back of her denim jacket. Such a beautiful, wonderfully creative group. Perfectly dark and rainy Seattle (late) Spring day means the upstairs studio is cool and perfect for lots of prep work. Definitely going to enjoy these cooler days while we can. The @marcusfabrics and @studio37fabrics scrap piles are being plundered today with the help of our @cloverusa rotary cutters and cutting mats! It’s always fun when we go to a fabric company and tell them we want their scraps for a class.
