CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT TASK #003

As voted by the members, here is another character development task! We'll be looking at character inspiration in media this time around! For this task, please put together a collection of fictional characters from any source of media (television shows, movies, books, songs, video games, etc.) that provide the most inspiration for your muse. A minimal of 3 characters is needed for this task to be considered complete, but there is no maximum - so include as many more as you'd like! Already know some off the top of your head? Wonderful, you can include those! Need some help putting together a list? Here's a handy dandy statistical "which character" personality quiz you can take in your muse's POV, which will give you over 100 character comparisons to choose from! All that's required of this task is simply the list of characters that provide you the most inspiration for your muse, but if you'd like to include the reason why they provide inspo to your muse, quotes from that character that are most inspiring for your muse, or images of the different characters in an edit or collage around your muse, you're more than welcome to do so - just have fun with it!

This character development task is optional, but highly encouraged! Participation in the task counts as one interaction towards activity. There is no deadline. If participating, make sure to tag your character inspo with #bhqtask003 for tracking & sharing onto the bhqextras blog!

CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT TASK #002

I think it's well past time for another character development task! We'll keep things rolling with another classic: an aesthetic collage and/or moodboard! For this task, please put together a collection of images or gifs you think best represent your character. You can go the traditional route of using small gifs to represent the personality of your muse in a moodboard, or you can do something involving aesthetics, like an edit of different images from Pinterest, or go a creative route with character posters or overlays. Whatever floats your boat! Feel free to make it as simple or as fancy as you'd like - just have fun with it!

CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT TASK #001

Welcome to BoroughsHQ first character development task! We're kicking things off with a classic: a character playlist. Music is said to be the key to the soul, which is exactly what we'd like to see a glimpse into for your characters. For this task, please put together a playlist of at least 6 songs that relate to your character (no maximum - go wild!). The songs can be ones that give direct inspiration for your character, songs that make you think of them, songs you think your character listens to, songs you think they loathe - whatever context you like, so long as they relate to them in some way. While no explanation for why each individual track was selected is necessary, you're welcome to include them in your post. All that's required is the playlist of the 6+ songs. Feel free to make it as simple or as fancy as you'd like - just have fun with it!
