I am (not so) secretly really enjoying how the dynamic between Darcy and @doctorxdoom‘s Doc Doom has been developing over the past year and Belle has had to hear my yell about it for the past week or so especially.

They’re really weird in the best kind of way. I told Belle once that they’re just two queers who don’t understand how to heterosexual correctly but they’re giving it a real good try. (I’m also just weak for two completely different people being drawn to eachother, and how there’s just a lot of effort on both of their parts to communicate and it still doesn’t always make sense to eachother)

You’d think that by now, after more than a few months in this universe, that Tony would be used to running into old friends. But he’s not. Partly because this universe is strange, sideways, people who are the wrong age or have different powers, different stories. The core of his team are accounted for, but there are many people who don’t seem to even exist. 

He’s not expecting Ivan, simply because he had yet to see any sign of the man in this universe. Admittedly, he hadn’t LOOKED either. He’s not expecting ANYONE else in the hallways of Stark Tower this early in the morning, which is why he runs almost straight into the man, managing to collide with the wall as he swerves at the last second.

“I’m so ----- Ivan!” the name is startled out of him before he can control himself. 

He’d only popped in to use Stark’s workshop, not to confront old ghosts. Again.
