Okay, rude. While I could understand that attitude directed towards Kawaki, a suspicious outsider with unknown background, Boruto is a fellow Konoha shinobi. Kid or not, since he’s gotten his headband and is a professional child soldier, that guy should’ve at least heard him out. 

His name was Nishi, right? Well Nishi, our local moron, welcome to my shit list.

...Kinda? Sorta? I mean, he does have a point; Boruto was complaining about the guard earlier and, considering his personality, it’s not that unreasonable to think he’d pull some kind of prank. Still, this kinda leaves a sour taste in my mouth.

I get both sides, but Boruto’s the one with the point. The best tactic would be to let Boruto go and track Kawaki down together with trackers and strong fighters.

I suppose that’ll work, but my idea was still better.

Anyway, what really concerns me is how did Boruto, a snotty nosed genin supposed to be under constant surveillance, sneak away from the tracking unit, a Byakugan using war veteran and the Hokage right after having an argument about leaving!? Was no one paying attention? Any at all!? If this wasn’t all part of Naruto’s/Shikamaru’s plan then damn, Konoha’s losing it’s touch.
