"A chilly autumn stroll"

The beginning of fall the green leaves turn a crimson red and are carried to the ground by a crisp autumn breeze. On this particular autumn day, team 7 had the day off from missions. Boruto had to visit his grandpa with his little sister, which left Mitsuki and Sarada on their own. "We could go to the library" Mitsuki suggested. "Hhm we could but is such a beautiful fall day we should go to the park and look at the leaves" Sarada said. "I guess that could be fun" Mitsuki said with a wide closed eyed smile.

Once they made their way to the park Sarada ran ahead of Mitsuki and happily twirled back around to face him. "Aren't the leave so beautiful?" She shouted happily. Mitsuki grinned happily and shook his head yes, and under his breath said" Not as beautiful as you" "What was that Mitsuki?" She questioned not hearing him quite clearly. "Nothing " he said with a closed eye smile. She looked at he questioningly, but continued on through the trees, until she tripped over a root and landed flat on her face. Mitsuki ran up to help her and couldn't help but giggle the Uchiha had a smudge of dirt on her cheek. "What's the grin for Baka!" She pouted at him. He just smiled bigger and brought a hand up to her cheek. She look into his golden orbs and suddenly felt shy. A small blush creeped to her cheeks. "Mitsuki looks really handsome up close" Sarada thought to herself. "You have a smudge of dirt on your face" he said with grin. He gently wiped it off watching her blush get even redder. He put out his hand to help her up, she reluctantly took it. As she tried to stand up she felt a sharp pain in her left ankle and fell straight back down. "Looks like you'll need a piggyback ride home Uchiha" Mitsuki said with a smug look on his face. She glared at him and her blush turned a deeper shade of crimson. "If my ankle wasn't twisted right now you would be sorry" she said angrily. He gave her a worried smile before he grabbed her lower thighs and pulled her on his back. " Aah Mitsuki a word of warning next time " she shrieked as she latched onto his shoulders for support. Mitsuki just smiled to himself.

They continued their walk in silence until Sarada said " I wish I could reach the trees" "Some of the leave are so pretty I want to see them up closer" "Hmm you could sit on my shoulders Sarada" Mitsuki stated. "I should boost you up enough to see the leaves closer". She blushed at the thought but agreed. He lowered himself to the ground so she could get on his shoulders, she awkwardly climbed on. Once she was on he stood up quickly which made him loose his footing and he fell back a step but regained balance "Sorry I lost my footing for a sec" he said "It's ok " she said moving her arms from his shoulders to his head. She gently brushed through his hair mesmerized by his pastel blue locks, she combed through them with her fingers. " I never really notice how soft and pretty your hair is Mitsuki " she stated , blushing as she realized what she had just said. Mitsuki blushed at her words and looked up to her "Really?" He said, he had never been shown this kind of attention before so it through him off guard a bit. "Yes!" She shouted as matter of factly. " Your hair is just like my mama's light and soft , though your is a little curly to" she said further brushing her fingers through his hair. Mitsuki looked up at her surprised but happy. "Thank you Sarada " he thanked her.

They continued happily through the crimson trees , Sarada playing with his hair the whole time , their day trip had been quite fun. "We should do this again sometime " Mitsuki stated. Sarada blush and agreed with a grin on her face "For sure"...
