You Can Leave Your Hat On... || @bossman-andy
The apartment had been unnaturally quiet for the past few days. Mercy hadn't expected that she'd have missed the chaos of having her 'room mate' around, but the silence was nearly suffocating. Riley and Keith were busy and Adachi had all but disappeared since she'd told him she'd spoken with Andy again. If he was angry, she didn't fucking care. She was an adult, she could make her own fucking decisions. She wasn't entirely certain of how she felt about those decisions just yet, but they had been hers to make. Sure didn't mean that she didn't feel somewhat bad. Bad enough that, when she'd placed her order for sushi, Mercy hadn't realized she'd picked all of her regular options... along with Adachi's. So now she either had to stuff herself or let her former 'room mate's' portion go bad and she'd have wasted money. Fuckin'... Well. Maybe... Maybe this wasn't a total loss. The redhead dug her phone from her pocket and found Andy's name at the top of her contact list. She bit her lip, debating on whether or not she was making a good choice in even thinking about inviting the crime lord over, but she eventually decided, what the fuck, why not? Her fingers danced across the virtual keys as she typed out a message.

are you busy? because im all on my lonesome right now aaaand i have too much food so you should come over and eat this food and no i promise i dont have ulterior motives unless you want me to then i do but in all seriousness how bout we just... hang out? She was trying to be an adult about this whole 'break up' and then 'let's try to get along' thing. Mercy still wasn't sure if she really believed much of what he said the last time he was here when she pretty much screamed at him in her kitchen then forced him to eat cookies. He'd seen her cry. Disgusting. Crying was for babies. And women. And it was just something she didn't do. Maybe he'd forgotten about it by now. She hoped so. Jesus fuck, she just hoped that, should he have come over, they could have a normal fucking evening together. She, despite her anger and having been as hurt as she was, didn't want to burn any bridges just yet. In spite of it all, Mercy still kind of considered Andy pretty important to her. "I have a feeling I'm gonna hate myself for this later..." Probably. But the night was still young.
