I got an idea using MC being Aether + Lumine's sibling that is hated by them and Teyvat with a twist.

With how many ideas (usually for Furina!MC) using Fontaine has them be the absolutely worse, a sad excuse for the Nation of Justice while the others are their canon selves. How about, wth the rest of Teyvat being awful to MC, Fontaine is the exception, with everyone being good to MC.

And yes that includes Focalors who is the morally best Archon in this scenario, Furina and the rest of Fontaine are geniune loving to MC as they don't see some calamity or incompetent faux hero but instead a girl that is genuinely trying to save people only to get hated and demonized because not everything want right.

In their eyes, the rest of Teyvat are a pile of dicks who should get off their high horses and fix their own problems if MC apparently can't do it properly, and if they don't want her, then Fontaine would gladly take her as one of their own, as true friends, family and perhaps for one of them, something more.

And with that genuine love being something MC never felt before by anyone but Paimon (who stays as her loyal companion no matter what), she doesn't know how to handle it but Fontaine is patient to not push her too hard until she is finally able to accept all this kindness, this love.

Ironically enough, MC actually does very in the Fontaine arc as result of this, while she doesn't involve herself with the trial here (as that is solely done by the Fontainian cast with her as a spectator), she is able to stop Vancher even after he tried to frame her which doesn't work here because Fontaine ain't doing the same shit other nations did.

She is also able to save the residents of Poisson that were going to dissolve, and I mean all of them, there is no one she is going to fail here, including Navia's own bodyguards and Navia herself, though it is nearly resulted in her dying if the Knave wasn't able to save her.

And with trial going better than in canon, with Furina not being humiliated, Neuvillette regaining his power and Focalors actually surviving here, and when the Narwhal attacked, MC did her best to help fight against despite not being the best fighter and still being exhausted from her near death.

MC even pushed Freminent to the side when he was frozen in fear by the Narwhal going to attack him, taking a hit in his place which knocked her out and caused a pissed off Focalors and Neuvillette to literally ripped the damn Narwhal apart for what it did to her, while Furina quickly takes MC out.

When she is awaken, she is seen as a hero to all of Fontaine (especially the Health), no hatred or disappointment, genuinely and loud cheers from the people, with Furina making it clear that MC is always welcome to Fontaine for her actions, especially if she wishes to make it home.

And with a for once cheerful MC and Paimon travel to Natlan to help them as well.... The same situation happens like the original idea with her seen as allied to her Abyss siblings, and Mauvika personally trying to kill her, only for a livid Focalors coming out of nowhere to fight off the Pyro Archon long enough to bring MC back to Fontaine.

Fontaine had enough of this, they made it clear to all of Teyvat that any attack on MC will be treated as an attack on Fontaine itself, and result in them stating that they will declare war against them if it happens again, and with Fontaine has the second strongest military and best technology, no one is willing face against them.

As for MC, she is done trying to help those who demand so much of her and get angry when she is unable to deliver all of it. Fontaine has accepted her as one of their own, therefore she will stay with them till the end. She finally found somewhere to belong, and she isn't wasting it.

Oh, I LOVE this! This MC deserves to be loved and spoiled after all the shit her siblings plus the rest of Tevyat gave her! 😭

Nearly getting killed the moment she sets foot in Natlan-

You KNOW Venti told Mavuika about her relationship with the Twins, you know he did it, petty bastard-

-and have a whole army and the Pyro Archon about to kill her on the spot truly was her breaking point. Fine. That's it. She was done.

Natlan and the Night Kingdom can get swallowed up by the Abyss for all MC cared now. Capitano can fail his lifelong mission of setting the souls in his body free for all she cared as well! MC WAS DONE!

So, she goes home with Focalors mom, where Furina mama hugs her before passing her off to Neuvillette papa who's also hugs her tightly, and then the Melusines, then Clorinde, and so on.

Another thing... the Hearth... Arlecchino has a LOT to say about MC to her coworkers but maybe she keeps quiet about it? She did owe a lot to MC... plus she agrees with Fontaine as a whole. Teyvat doesn't deserve MC.

And if the other Archons complain, even come knocking on Fontaine's doorsteps, they'd only get a face full of a now fully powered Hydro Dragon Sovereign who tries to take this chance to judge them for their past crimes, and their current crimes against his new hatchling, MC.

And if the rest of Teyvat burns because MC wasn't there to 'help'? Well, not Fontaine's problem.

Continuing after my previous idea with MC being Aether + Lumine's sibling that is hated by them and Teyvat but loved by Fontaine, I have another twist which is that she wasn't hated by every single denizen from the other nations.

In other terms, there was at least one resident from each nation that was completely against what their nations and Archons did to MC, having the same views to her as Fontaine. At the moment, I have chosen two characters from two different nations, still thinking on the others.

My first pick is Rosaria as I am starting to really like her, who already had her own reasons to be disillusioned with her nation and god, but the fact that MC, who is the first she seen as a genuine friend, was punished for unable to fix things that shouldn't have been her duty was the final straw.

The nun that had her own beliefs disconnected to the church she's apart of has just lost any remaining faith in the organisation for what they did to a hero despite all she did for them previously, resulting in her being done with the church and the damned nation it was apart of.

Made worse as she accidentally saw the situation with Barbatos and Dvalin so not only she found out who her god is, but that it was his fault for what happened with Dvalin, yet blamed the outlander for failing to save the dragon despite her best efforts, just made her hate him even more.

And when MC was cursed and then locked up for a future exile from nation, she decided that this is enough and went on to break her and Paimon out of Mondstadt's prison, returning her equipment and making a dash to outside the nation's borders, especially after they found out about the escape.

Now seen as a fugitive for her actions, Rosaria decided to join MC in her travels only to deal with constant suffering and betrayal by the other nations and their gods, which only strengthen her contempt to the divine and protectiveness over MC who is trying her hardest to help people despite what is being done to her.

My second pick is the Shogun, not Raiden Ei, but the actual puppet she had created as a vessel ruler which she does anything else. Despite everything, MC tried to give kindness to the Shogun without knowing she is a puppet, nonetheless it results in the Shogun's own conscious to come out.

And when Ei prepares to kill MC for her "troublesome actions" in her nation, the Shogun awakened and fought her creator for the girl who helped her live for herself instead of just being a puppet. Unfortunately, she lost and ripped apart for her actions, her only regret was that she couldn't thank MC for everything.

MC refused to let the Shogun die here as MC know she was more than a mere puppet, so despite Rosaria's objections, rushed into danger to bring her damaged body into the Teapot dimension so they can find a way to fix her another time before running away while lightning tried to strike them down.

Unfortunately, MC was struck by one of those lightning strikes in her shoulder which shocked into unconsciousness, causing both the wounded Rosaria and Paimon to find a way to fix her up the best they can within the borders of Sumeru without being seen by anyone.

When the wounded group reached Fontaine Furina met them at the entrance which made Rosaria displeased as she made her hatred to the divine quite clear but was surprised when Furina replied with only kindness as she understand why they would be hateful towards the divine.

The rest happened like in the original idea though Rosaria being with MC and Paimon. And when everything is done, MC brings out the damaged Shogun and requests the alive Focalors if she could help her, which Focalors answered with a yes as she created something similar with Furina.

The only difference is that Focalors allowed Furina to be her own person with her own dreams and desires rather than be a puppet for the Hydro Archon to control m, unlike what Ei did with the Raiden Shogun, but she believes she is able to let the Shogun's being to be finally let out.

And she succeeded as the Shogun was fixed and regained her conscious, finally becoming more than a puppet like how the Wanderer was, with her own action as her own person was to cut her short to look different from her creator, even if extremely small, she becoming someone new.

After that, she requested to meet the others, and with a happy reunion between the Shogun and MC, the group of three has become four, with a new name (up to you) and attire for the Shogun, courtesy of Chidori who wanted to do something for a fellow victim of the Electro Archon.

After all of that, theybfinally go on their travel to Natlan, only for the same events to happen like in previous idea, though Rosaria and Shogun do stand in front to protect MC, it is unneeded as Focalors comes to defend them from Mauvika before returning to Fontaine with all four.

And that's it for now, I have something for two characters belonging to the same nation but I believe this is becoming overcrowded information so that's for next time.

Rosaria! She would be a perfect friend and even a big sister to MC in this au! And Raiden Shogun? Hell yes! She might've lost against Ei, but she stood up to her for MC!🤩

So yeah, i agree a 100% on these two being that one person who would be on MC's side!

But now, thw other nations? I'm real curious on who you will choose. And one place will have two people, and that has me excited on finding out who that can be, and from what nation...

I will say, for Natlan... I'm gonna guess that person is Kachina, or at least I hope so. I love her to death...

Sides that, again, Rosaria. Poor girl is definitely going through it with MC and Paimon. And then with Fontaine, her worldview is once against flipped.

Because the Archon here was fake, or at least in cohoots with the real one, and they're working and succeeded in saving their nation from a 500 year long prophecy scare... that says a lot more than compared ot her original Archon...

Also, after the whole Natlan scare, and MC her group settled firmly into Fontaine... I want to imagine like MC and Paimon, Rosaria and Shogun both find their own little niches in the nation of Hydro.

I kinda want to imagine Rosaria possibly getting a side job in the Fortress, or maybe training under Clorinde or Arlecchino... Shogun is a little harder, but it would be nice to see her step and explore her likes and dislikes more.

Maybe she gets a job at Chiori's?

This is an execution AU but the Traveler succeed in saving Furina at the cost of being wounded.

So this is the average Execution AU but with them waiting for Furina to wake up so the can do it. During that the Traveler and Paimon have been trying to convince them to not do this, even begging to let them take Furina out of the nation if they want her gone.

But no matter what they say, Neuvillette states with no hesitation that they appreciate their help with the prophecy, but they will no longer interfere in Fontainian affairs. In simpler terms, this no longer concerns them and they should just piss off.

But Aether and Paimon aren't planning on leaving, seeing that they are not going to change their minds, but knowing that they can't fight the entire nation to save Furina, they need another strategy. And so they leave for now, and go to speak to the House of the Hearth for their assistance.

And when the time for Furina's execution comes to pass, Aether who is at the back calls for the start of the plan, with the Fontainians with explosions all around them, caused by Lyney's fire and the Fatui placing explosives below the ground and near buildings. With them all distracted, Aether rushes to Furina's side, freeding her quickly after killing the executioner.

Unfortunately, he underestimated the perceptiveness of Neuvillette as he quickly realised what is happening and fought Aether to stop him from interfering, a fight where Aether clearly was in the disadvantage, as the Hydro Sovereign was stronger than the Raiden Shogun who he barely beat with help.

But he can't fall now as Furina would be doomed, so he fought as hard as he can while Paimon focused on getting the still frozen in shock Furina out of there. The longer the fight was, the more ferocious Neuvillette became as he won't let the fraud escape 'righteous punishment'.

Once he was able to swipe Aether into slamming through a building, and rushed towards Furina and Paimon, only Aether to rush in front of them and tanking the strike from Neuvillette which greatly damaged his left eye, and had him spit out some blood.

Aether counters back with a great elemental attack of his own on the shocked Neuvillette (as he didn't expect Aether to take the attack meant for her) which did actually hurt him and causes his dragon side to go havoc on Aether, striking with a continuous assault upon him.

If it wasn't for the Knave (who wasn't there during the plan but came quickly when her children called her) who striked Neuvillette hard enough to make slam into a wall, and Lyney activating the rest of the explosions to disordinate the rest of the Fontainians, Aether may have died there.

Paimon immediately rushes to her best friend's side, while Furina stares at her near dead saviour with a missing eye and an arm damaged beyond repair along with countless other wounds on him, making her break out of the frozen shocked state she was in as she screams his name.

Either Furina and Paimon, or both, immediately try to contact the other Archons to save him, which is answered by Barbatos with his winds bringing them to Mondstadt so they can save him. With the large winds surprising everyone, the Fatui escape but not before Arlecchino destroys the Palais Mermonia by the Tsaritsa's order.

Now the scene transfers to a medical centre in Mondstadt with the best healers they have to heal Aether, while Barbatos goes to inform the rest of the Archons of the current incident, resulting in all of them having a vetry poor view of Fontaine and the Iudex, with all Furina and Paimon can do is watch and hope that he can wake up.

Furina begins to think the worst of herself due to Aether being in this state trying to saving her, believing that she did not deserve it, but Paimon ain't having any of it, ranting to her while in tears...

"He did not enter a near dead state so you can degrade yourself, Furina. He almost die saving you because we believe you deserve to live, so get out with that nonsense of having no worth. You do have it."

Can I just start off with saying I wonder how the Abyss Princess will take the news her brother was hurt to this such a serious degree? Like, you know she's gonna hear about it through the Abyss Mage grapevine, cause Abyss agents had to have seen or heard the commotion happening in Fontaine...

Sorry, had to bring that up first-

But besides that, woah. Just... woah. This whole thing was a roller coaster start to finish.

Aether and Paimon, the whole thing where Neuvillette told them politely to 'fuck off, this isn't your issue anymore', them going to the House of Hearth for help and the Fatui gives help and MORE, the whole fight scene against Neuvillette, Aether literally taking a hit for not only Furina!MC, but Paimon too-

Simply amazing. 10/10. Absolute cinema.

And then you go and describe Aether's wounds, and oh man, I'm worried about him. Missing an eye, one of his arms possibly damaged beyond healing, this... isn't looking good for him...

But then you bring in Venti with the save of the century. I like to imagine he was out being a bard like he usually was, but then he hears Paimon panicked SCREAMS over the winds, and-

Venti persona was gone. Barbatos mode activated.

Needless to say, Mondstadt was horrified when a giant storm brings in their honorary knight half dead on the church doorstep, along with a crying Paimon, and an equally crying white hair woman... who was in chains?! What has their knight gotten himself into?!

Either way, yeah, once the truth gets out what Fontaine did, no nation was going to look at them the same way again.

Mondstadt was already making moves by preparing to cease buying any goods, or any interactions with the nation of 'Justice'... hah, what a joke. Justice? After nearing killing their own Archon, and crippling a hero? What kind of Justice is that?!

Besides that, Furina!MC.

After getting that little pep talk from Paimon, I see her trying to distract herself via helping around the Church, helping with Aether's wounds, cause she just couldn't sit in her room and cry all day. She needed to do something...

Second post of Furina is killed and Fontaine dies with her, Execution AU.

Another idea that was meant to be an one-off but you mention things that give me the inspiration of a sequel, that being what happens to the cast of the story after the death of Fontaine. Get ready, this is a very long one.

You already gave out an idea of where the grieving Melusines would go, leaving the nation where their lady died, as while they may have not saw Furina as a mother here, the clear care and affection she gave them could not be denied. The Traveler and Paimon, after bringing them to Mondstadt, went off to kill any monster they can find to clear their head.

As for the others, Wriothesley and Sigewinne (who decided to stay instead leaving with her sisters) are now frantically rushing to evacuate the denizens of the Fortress of Meropide as while it was autonomous stronghold from the court, it was still powered up through Indemnitium which is now gone thanks to Furina's death, making the prison begin to die which means water begin falling in.

Angrily deriding those who committed the vile deed to the one she cared about above all, especially Neuvillette who she thought would have more sense than that, Sigewinne immediately began to request other nations if they be willing to accept a mass exodus of semi-reformed criminals and staff in their territories, with the Nation of Contracts gracefully welcoming them.

The most vile and irredeemable criminals being forced to stay in the prison by a forceful Sigewinne, much to Wriothesley's chagrin as he didn't wish to leave them in a dying prison no matter how bad they are but Sigewinne was clear that they are too dangerous to be let out and they can't deal with them. The only comprise was that they will be quickly killed off so they wouldn't suffer in their final moments.

Others like Esscoffier and Chiori (along with those under their authority or agreed with their views) fortunately weren't in a rush to leave Fontaine but they were still unwilling to stay in the nation that killed their beloved ruler, so quickly took their stuff and left while the remaining Fontainians were still panicking.

The House of the Hearth, who were also against the execution even if pragmatically (killing the ruler of your nation just felt completely moronic and would have many consequences), was also surprised by the sudden lost of power as even the Tsaritsa didn't expect the Hydro Archon to be Fontaine's source of power, and so focused on having the Fatui soliders and the children be transferred back to Snezhnaya for the latter's safety.

Plus, with tha the children of the house adored Furina, they were very unhappy when she was murdered by her own people, and wouldn't want to stay in such a nation. And Arlecchino, who was beginning to respect Furina for all she did, was also extremely displeased by the act of murder and may have been tempted to kill the conspirators if she wasn't focused on evacuating the house.

Navia and the Spina di Rosula, who were strangely not there during the planning and actual execution of the fraud, were informed by the Traveler before they left, and made their displeasure extremely clear about their atrocity. Even with their anger for Furina for the incident at Poisson (which they are beginning to realise may have also been their fault), they would have never wanted to have her executed.

What made them more disgusted by the underserved vengeance, was that unlike them who actually lost a lot of family and friends from the Primordial Sea, the mainland lost almost nothing in comparison and so had even less of a reason to be angry at Furina who has done nothing that would result in seeking retribution.

Navia, who like Clorinde was already guilty about her part in the trial, was plainly horrified by what Neuvillette did as she didn't expect him to do something so repulsive and felt so sad for Furina and those who truly cared for her, but knew she had work to do, like evacuating her people from the dying nation. One other thing she needed to do had her plus a couple of her men go on to procure Furina's body (as it was left there during the celebrations) and meet up with Clorinde.

As for the final person, Clorinde didn't actually leave yet as she went to Furina's old office and room to get some stuff for personal reasons, and then get Furina's body as she refused to leave her here, only to get intercepted by Navia who already had the body before offering it to her and asking if Clorinde wishes to join them in leaving this fallen nation, which she accepted. Also, before they left, Navia's men went on to take the rest of Furina's possessions including her plans for weaponry to defend Fontaine before leaving.

While during all of this, all co-conspirators were now running like headless chickens in a desperate but ultimately meaningless attempt to undo the power loss, all but Neuvillette anyway who simply stared at the sea ahead, seeing the Spina di Rosula leaving but not stopping them, only looking up in the raining sky, musing on the mistake he realised he made, before walking to Furina's ransacked room and laying on her bed.

The utter irony of all this is that the reason for why Furina didn't realise her people betrayed her wad because she was focused on finding a way to disconnect herself from being the battery/generator and transfer that role to Fontaine itself, knowing that she was no longer immortal and therefore would pass on, so needed to make sure Fontaine did survive post her death.... only for her execution to happen, dooming her executioners to a miserable end anyway.

This is long. 😮 But it bringing me so much information, so I like it! 🤩

First off, I'm glad the Melusines ended up in Mondstadt. It will definitely be an improvement to their last home...

Now for Wriothesley and Sigewinne, I was kinda surprise they and most of inhabitants of the Fortress of Meropide were welcome to Liyue, but that works. Though Sigewinne pulling a dark moment by leaving all prisoners who did the worse of worse behind to drown was badass and dark.

Escoffier and Chiori, another pair I'm glad who left. I do wonder where they will go... hm... think Chiori will go visit Inazuma? I know in her lore she left when the law against visions was put up. As for Escoffier, maybe a traveling chef?

Now the House of Hearth... I really don't know what to say. I mean, it's sad cause the kids loved Furina!MC, and even Arlecchino was begining to respect her... only for Fontaine to ruin it all.

But Navia? Oh, I absolutely LOVE her part. She and Poisson just looked at this whole situation and calls the mainland out on their bullshit, and she even goes to retrieve Furina!MC's dead body... which what do you mean they just left it there?!

And Navia also picking up Furina!MC's other possessions, plus one very important Clorinde, makes things even better! You got all you need, girl! So get out of that hell hole!

I will say, seeing Neuvillette mentioned i wonder if he sees the Navia's boys collecting Furina!MC's body... I wonder if he just states when they go pick up the head, see those vacant eyes, and-

The storm gets worse and Neuvillette walks away on shaky feet...

But now the ending. Yeah, I can see why Furina!MC probably didn't noticed people weren't going to betray her if she focused on disconnecting herself as the battery/generator and transferring it Fontaine.

She probably thought how excited she would be once she did, how happy Neuvillette would be-

...To bad that's never gonna happened now.

This is a sequel to my Lyney X Furina one Night Stand au idea.

So after Arlecchino was done punishing Lyney for his action (along with trying to hide it), she immediately focuses on the fact that Furina cannot stay in Fontaine while she is pregnant, with the father being of the Fatui and the current feelings that the people have of Furina, both her and her children are in danger. So the Knave decides that bringing her to Snezhnaya is probably the best option.

It will also be the place where Lyney and Furina are going to be married as well (granted after Furina gives birth to her twins) because the Lyney is the one who impregnated her therefore is going to take responsibility for it, he ain't going to avoid this, he is raised better than that.

So after making an excuse to the court that the Tsaritsa is calling the entire House of the Hearth back to home for an emergency (as to not give the dragon and goddess any suspensions for why she is leaving right after coming back). Perhaps with the Traveler and Paimon helping if they are still here as they also hated the trial's aftermath and what it did to Furina.

It would be back to Snezhnaya, much to the surprise of the Tsaritsa and other Harbingers when they see a returning Knave with her children and a clearly pregnant ex-Hydro Archon, that the Tsaritsa would theorise that due to Furina being a puppet to Focalor, that the goddess may made her infertile so it didn't get in the way of her mission.

I do like the Furina having twins idea but I think that only one should the ears and tail which would be the son while the daughter is like her father, as a contrast to Lyney and Lynette.

Arlecchino taking Furina!MC straight to Snezhnaya might be the best course of action. The former Archon couldn't stay. She needed to get out and FAR away from Fontaine, and under the protection of Tsaritsa.

And I do like the idea of the Traveler/Paimon helping out in this scheme.

Like, yeah, Furina!MC couldn't just leave at the same time as the House of Hearth. Someone might noticed. So that's where the Traveler comes in. A few days later and they would meet up with Furina!MC to secretly escort her out of Fontaine and to where the House of Hearth was waiting.

And now we're in Snezhnaya... to be honest, this is pretty terrifying to Furina!MC. She was going to meet the Tsarista. She was going to meet the other Harbingers-

...She's not going to meet Dottore, is she?!

As for that answer, no. Arlecchino AND the Tsaritsa make extra sure he doesn't come to close to her.

Also if he Lyney might lose his shit. Like protective future husband mode activated!

But besides that, I think Furina!MC slowly settles into her new life in Snezhnaya...

She spends time looking after the younger Hearth children, having tea with the Tsaritsa and the Jester, sometimes joining Lyney on walks through some of the Tsaritsa's snow filled gardens... it was nice...

No Fontaine and the drama... no Focalors... and no Neuvillette...

Just her, her children slowly growing in her belly, the Hearth, the Tsaritsa... and Lyney.

And yes, I agree with only one of the twins having cat like features. And yeah, it has to be the boy. ...I still have no idea on what their names could be. Suggestions anyone?

Another idea which is Execution AU, but Furina is killed and then Fontaine died with her.

So the idea is that unlike my other Execution ideas, Furina is successfully executed for her 'crimes' much to the despair of those who were against it, including the Melusines. Afterwards though, during their victory celebration that happened right after, all power in Fontaine just stopped and Neuvillette felt something went horribly awry.

The thing is that Fontaine was powered up by both Focalors and Furina, the former acting like the battery producing Indemnitium while the latter was like a generator transferring it to wherever it is needed. When Focalors died, the role of the battery transferred to other half aka Furina, who began producing her own Indemnitium while also transferring it.

So when Furina was executed, there was no one else to transfer the roles of battery and generator which meant no Indemnitium to the systems of Fontaine which means the nation gets no power, therefore begins to die. Neuvillette realise immediately that they fucked up hard as the Nation of Justice is nothing without its generated Indemnitium.

So in their desire to kill the fraud, they unknowingly doomed their nation to a slow death that cannot be undone. And with the Traveler and all who still sided with Furina leaving after her death, there is no one that could possibly help (with the Archons certainly not helping them after hearing what happened).

The irony is that Furina did realise what happened and hid the fact she was now producing Indemnitium as she didn't want to be seen as a god again, only informing one other person, the only member of the court who refused to betray her again, Clorinde. The duelist was forced to stay in her home at Neuvillette's command as she refused to stand for the execution.

She betrayed her once, she won't do it again, and so when brought to Neuvillette after the loss of power, she mockingly made it clear that Furina was the only reason the nation had power, before spitting on the floor in front of him before leaving the dying Fontaine permanently.

Oh... boy. Where to start with this...

Fontaine getting cursed after they wrongly executed Furina!MC? Love it. Love it to bits. They got what was coming to them, and no one is going to help them out this hole they dug themselves in.

Not even Neuvillette with his fully restored Sovereign powers can stop this slow decay.

Furina!MC being forced to take on Focalors role as the battery of Fontaine? Horrifying twist, adding to the fact she probably KNEW what would happen once she died... and yet she said nothing.

She more likely broken, tired. She wanted to sleep... adding in being Fontaine's battery as well was probably pure excruciating pain... she was probably praying for this death... and also, maybe as revenge against all those that should've helped her.

Also! Maybe she uses whatever divinity she had left from taking over Focalors role in 'blessing' the Fontainains that didn't betray her.

The only one she told about this was Clorinde, so the former duelist made sure to share the 'blessing' once Furina!MC finally passed on.

Oh, and then there was Clorinde. Poor, poor loyal Clorinde. I absolutely love how she refused to betray her lady again. And I bet this made Furina!MC cry when she realized this, but it was just too late...

At least Furina!MC got the last laugh, and Clorinde rubbed it into a horrifed and most likely enraged Hydro Sovereign face before spitting on the ground. That alone made me laugh cause she literally sees him as nothing more than dirt now.

Besides that... Melusines? I want to talk about them. I want to imagine that Furi a!MC begged them to leave Fontaine, go somewhere far away and into safer waters like Mondstadt?

I want to imagine that the Traveler even escorts the herd of mourning Melusines all the way to the land of Freedom and Venti and his people welcome them sadly with open arms.

Might need some help on where Wriothesley and Clorinde could go... any suggestions? Ah. And maybe Esscoffier too!

This is another new idea with Furina having loyal monsters under her command AU.

The idea is that either a Nice or at least a Pragmatic Focalors, knowing that Furina has no personal power of her own, decided to create something that would protect her while she is committing to her role, as if she dies before the prophecy is done, everything in Fontaine is utterly fucked.

So Focalors decides on creating a new species born from Hydro that would act as loyal servants and protectors for Furina, literally programmed to serve only her and Focalors herself, with the goddess' authority being above Furina, though when Focalors dies as she intends, the species would only serve Furina.

The problem is that Focalors is far worse creator then her mother Egeria, with no experience in making a species nor even competence, so instead of something like Oceanids, Focalors created soulless oceanic monsters with only some appearing humanoid while the rest are clearly monstrous.

And with them soulless, they don't exist as apart of the world, so they are connected to the Irminsul which means they aren't affected by a certain Wanderer erasing himself from the memories of the world. Also, they can't be sensed due to not being of the world unless they make a physical appearance, made easier for them as due to being Hydro monsters, they can easily transform and move through the water particles in the air.

Fortunately enough, they are far from being mindless, instead are completely sapient in that they can think for themselves with human-levels of clarity. It is only contrasted by their utter disdain to those who oppose their master (like the Fatui) and actual contempt to all Oceanids other than their masters, as Focalors felt abandoned by her own kin for being chosen as Egeria's successor.

As they were created not long after Furina 'became' the Hydro Archon, they have been beside her since pretty much the beginning, though she had mostly hid them from sight as she knows they wouldn't be liked, and honestly believes they work better in the shadows where no one would expect them. As when certain people do know of them like with Neuvillette and the Melusines (and later Clorinde and Wriothesley), she orders complete silence from them.

Under Focalors' orders, Furina declares (lies) that she had personally created them to her spies and protectors, saying that as the new Hydro Archon, she couldn't trust her people who just met Furina to not attempt to betray her when she isn't expecting them. As for that origins, she just states how Focalors created them but with her replacing their actual creator in her tale.

Even then, she mainly used the humanoid ones as her spies while only occasionally using the rest of needed, much to their indifference (they are created to serve her without question, they don't care if they aren't used), with a couple watching the Traveler doing their thing, but as the prophecy comes closer, they become more direct as their goddess demands.

It all comes to a head, when the Traveler finally comes to Fontaine and begin that storyline, as they began to physically appear more often as the prophecy is close, enough so that the Navia, the House of the Hearth and Fontaine's other cast knowing of their existence, with the Traveler finally know who apparently made them.

For the trial itself, they mistakenly don't think about the fact that those monsters can became the very water particles and are watching them scheme. As for the creatures, if it wasn't for the fact that the trial needs to happen for Focalors' plan, they would massacre them all for this betrayal. And during the trial, they finally appear to the public, every single one all to show that they are Furina's protectors and only loyalists.

And when Focalors begins the endgame, all of them focus on bringing the now unconscious Furina out of Fontaine immediately, as they no longer trust anyone in Fontaine and sees them all as traitors, no exceptions. And with Focalors finally dying and the prophecy ended, only Furina matters to them now and they will protect no matter what, even against the whole world.

I don't have a name for these creatures btw, I thought of the Deep Ones from Lovecraft but I didn't think they work for these things.

I say Pragmatic Focalors would work for this au. She isn't exactly nice, but she makes sure Furina!MC had protectors at least, and that says a lot.

But still, these monsters sound so cool! Make me imagine that they act like needy, big, and affectionate cats around Furina!MC when they're alone. They can make purring noises and even silently ask for headpat or head scratches.

Besides that, I like the idea of them being a secret that the public barely knows about. Maybe even though humans from 500 years saw them, they became basically a myth by the time modern Fontaine came around?

Another thing... if Neuvillette and Clorinde knew about them, then they fucked up big time not considering if they were being listened in by one of those things. I mean, Neuvillette didn't even sense them! That's something else!

And they appear during the trial? I bet the humans who thought they weren't real started screaming as they all swarmed around a scared Furina!MC and created a protective circle around her.

Then there was the ending, oh boy... where are they going to take her? And I bet they won't hold back if one of the Fontaine cast or Traveler comes looking for the former Archon...

Also, as for question about what we should call these things, I don't have a clue either. If anyone has an idea, please share!

Here's an idea, it is Furina!MC is the heart of Fontaine, Exile AU.

The Furina is the heart of Fontaine idea is based on this AO3 fic (https://archiveofourown.org/works/60406456/chapters/154823641) but to explain it if you don't want to read it, so the basic idea is as follows...

Archons pretty much act like the heart of their respective nation, which themselves are kinda alive because of it, and as result are quite possessive of their hearts. And this doesn't change with their throne being gone either, as Furina is still the core of Fontaine despite no longer being the Hydro Archon.

So in a scenario where Furina is forced out of Fontaine either willingly or in this case through exile, to say that Fontaine itself would be displeased is an understatement, they are angry that their heart is gone, not at Furina herself but at the very people that wanted her gone, now traitors to Fontaine.

If Furina had just leave because of a vacation or work reasons, Fontaine would have been fine with that as that would be temporary and she would be back but not here, Furina is permanently beyond its grasp and she wasn't give a choice, and Fontaine wants her back.

Its anger would awaken the very Primordial Sea that once threaten it, as the water remembers every drop of blood and tear shed by Furina, her memories and pains, which merged with the natural water, giving the Primordial Sea true sentience and partly bounded to Fontaine just like as Furina is.

That along with all the combined rage, hate, despair and grief that Furina felt for the 5 centuries she sacrificed, strengthen by Fontaine's hatred. So not even a day after Furina's exile, Neuvillette felt something was off, as the waters of Fontaine refused to obey his will, and soon he would realise why.

As he noticed that it wasn't raining nor were there a cloud in the sky, infact there weren't clouds for miles, the main fountain started rumbling and shaking, only for water to come out and form into a look-a-like of Furina, the Primordial Sea taking the form of the one who unknowingly gave it sentience.

It won't take long for Neuvillette to recognise who stands before him, surprised that the Primordial Sea is somehow sapient as it was never like this before, but before he could say anything, 'Furina' would immediately attack him brutally but non-lethally as a release of their shared anger.

After that, the Primordial Sea would spill everything about both itself and Fontaine including their shared connection with Furina, telling them that they know exactly what they have done to their heart, and that they will pay hundredfold for their sins, pay with a curse worse than the last.

A curse that make those so afraid of the water no longer feel its waves, never again cross waters in any nation and be unable to be in contact with water ever again, with the people feeling the air being arid and dry, the very moisture sapped from the air, now hot and heavy, like a desert with a magnified sun.

They however do declare that the Traveler and Paimon would be allowed to leave as they stood against the exile, and if they bring Furina back to Fontaine by her own choice and forgives those who exiled her, then the curse would be undone, as their heart would be back and free.

As above all, Fontaine (and by extension the Primordial Sea) just wants Furina, their Hydro Archon, to return. And will undo their curse of she does, even if they believe the contractors of her exile deserves their punishment. Of course, that really depends on if the Traveler doesn't just leave them to their fate.

And that's it for now. I don't know how to continue this, if I want to anyway.

I can definitely see this going either 2 routes, the one where Furina!MC forgives but remembers, or she does NOT forgive and lets them dry up.

The 'Forgives but remembers' route is simple enough. She forgives, mostly for the young children of Fontaine, cause she adores children, and those that she understood were against or had no clue about her exile... but she will always remember what was done to her.

She will hold this over the ones she once trusted heads for all time she will live as the Heart of Fontaine. She will NEVER let them forget the betrayal they did to her. NEVER... especially you, Hydro Dragon Sovereign, Iudex Neuvillette...

She will forgive, but she will NEVER forget...

Now, for the othet route. The 'She doesn't forgive' route.... it's basically a all around bad ending for all of Fontaine.

Furina!MC was angry, bitter, and just done with Fontaine. She didn't care about it anymore, all that care dried up the moment she was exiled without care.

Not even the Primordial Sea can drag her back. Call her cruel, but she wanted to free, she didn't want new chains to be wrapped around her...

So dry up Fontaine, because the Heart has long since given up on you...
