BACKSTORY

- so caleb was born to lorenzo and nadia moreno. they met on july 27th, 1994 in milano. his dad, a businessman (or at least that’s what he told nadia in the beginning) and his mom, an interior designer met when lorenzo was renovating his office. nadia is originally american, but had to move to italy due to her job. the two instantly fell in love. lorenzo had your typical pretty italian man type of look, the one you immediately fall for. they got married only 6 months after dating. both of their families were surprised at how quickly they decided to get married – considering nadia didn’t know that lorenzo was actually a part of a really well known mafia family. you could say she was blinded by love, but when lorenzo told her the truth about his family - she didn’t even twitch. she looked at him the same way she did when they first met. and that was the moment she became his forever ride or die.
- but then, november 11th, 1998 their king was born. caleb is the heir to the moreno family, but he has a younger sister that is 2 years younger than him whom he deeply cares for. he was born in milano, and they lived there until he was 3. due to circumstances, the family had to move to nyc and help their with the family business. they lived in manhattan since then. the moreno family owns a ton shit of clubs and bars in manhattan, but that’s not why they actually came there. at some point the police department arrested some of the moreno members due to huge drug cases, and that’s when lorenzo and nadia came in to help. they had to replace the family members and take care of the family business. since the moment they moved to nyc, they made huge deals and the moreno family have never made as much money as they made since their big move. but it wasn’t all nice and pretty.
- one time the family went to a pretty important gala. what they didn’t know is that someone hired an assassin to take the family down during this gala. they went inside, most of the night went pretty smooth, until gunshots were fired. they aimed mostly at lorenzo, and he was the one who go hurt the most. caleb got shot in his left arm twice which due to his age (was only 12) caused him to be injured pretty badly. they were all rushed to the hospital and were always being watched.
- eventually they all recovered, but his dad knew he wouldn’t be able to deal with it for too long – so when they got out of the hospital he told caleb that he will be taking over the family business once he’ll be old enough.
- caleb was traumatized because of what happened and went to a psychologist for a while, but when he started high school, he realized he would much rather bottle everything up rather than talking about it. he was a pretty smart kid. he never really studied for anything and he was never the guy to participate in many classes, but when he did talk – he was always right. he was the type of guy everyone wanted to be friends with only so they wouldn’t get hurt. he was never a very talkative person, but his presence was intimidating. he got into a ton shit of fist fights at school, but was never kicked out.
- he had one serious girlfriend. they were the “it” couple in nyc. they started dating around the age of 18 until they were 21. caleb still thinks she was and is the one for him, but it scared him. knowing she might be the one scared him to death bc he knew he would have to tell her about his family and he knew it would be IMPOSSIBLE for them to get married , since no one wants their daughter marrying into a mafia family. so instead, he got it off of his mind by talking to another girl and he ended up cheating on her with that girl. he told her that the girl meant nothing to him and they really did only sleep once, but of course he was not forgiven and they haven’t really spoken since then and she makes him go all soft when she’s around. like she legit makes him feel so insecure.
NOWADAYS:
- he took over the family’s business when he turned 18. he basically runs all the most luxurious clubs in manhattan. he also runs the real family business which is the mafia lmao. he makes sure drug deals are happening. he doesn’t get his hands dirty tho. you’ll never really see him deal or doing anything that will put him in danger of getting arrested.
- no one around him really knows what his family business is really about. everyone in his life thinks his family owns multiple clubs and are one of the most well known socialites in manhattan, but that’s pretty much it.
- he decided to move to boston a year ago to expand the family’s business . his dad has always been a fan of boston so he realized it would be a great opportunity for him to get away from all the craziness in nyc .
PERSONALITY & FUN FACTS:
- caleb is very quiet. could come off as very mysterious. he’s very secretive and would never share a lot about his life, but he’s a great listener. his family comes first and if you’d dare to even say ONE bad thing about anyone from his family he would break you into a million pieces without even thinking.

BACKSTORY
— born in salvador, brazil, but partially raised in medellín, columbia when opportunities for his surgeon father prompted them to move. as a result, aleixo’s first languages are portuguese and spanish, with fluency in english as a third language. they moved to san antonia, texas when aleixo was eleven.
— despite moving frequently through his early years, aleixo had a good and comfortable life. he was closer with his mother as a result of his father’s long hours at hospitals, learning how to cook from her and inheriting her great love of animals as well. from his father, he got his tenacity and desire to help others.
— a chance friendship in grade school lead to a love of large animals, not just stables but the cows and sheep and other livestocks of the ranches all around. he knew pretty early on what he wanted to do : become a veterinarian, and with time he knew his focus would be large animals.
