friend: I was driving along, heading down to shop, when something large and heavy fell on my windowshield, breaking it, and fell off. I slammed on my breaks, thinking it was the lord sending an angel, or a sign. but when I got out and looked, it was sherlock's limp, lifeless body.

me: *well used to being tortured about reichenbach by him now*

me: he lived, though. wanna hear a lord of the rings joke?

me: sherlock lived. thorin didn't
