Would people see it as “detransitioning” if i said my chosen name is more of a nickname and im okay with my birthname

it isnt. Its the name i chose as an alter of this system. But people regard it as the singular name of a genderfluid singlet. And its kinda driving me nuts?? I no longer feel affirmed when others call me by my name, only when my headmates do.

and i lowkey love my birthname. Its unique and beautiful and i lowkey feel affirmed when only my family uses it. Atp its more of a in-family name. Most people outside of my family have either mocked or mispronounced it in the past so thats definitely hasnt helped my relationship to it but i still love it

i wanna go by more names i want people to use my headmates names but we cant be out safely irl :(((

i really wanna clarify to my irl friends that my parents calling me by my old name isnt deadnaming me but im scared theyll see me as not trans enough. And then theyll start using my family name and mispronounce it and laugh at it for being weird and foreign i mean they already laugh at me for being latino aaaughhh
