Elizabeth Marie Sanchez. Hello, baby girl. It’s wonderful to meet you….This is the MOST beautiful baby I have ever seen in my entire life–doesn’t everybody say that? Isn’t it a CHEMICAL thing, an evolutionary thing? That’s why she looks so much like her daddy, I guess…but, no that can’t be it. This isn’t just science. There’s so much more to it. I am more sure of this than I’ve ever been that she is the most beautiful baby that has ever existed. Have I been holding her too long? I should let Rick hold her…I don’t want to give her up! Fuck. Yeah, that was Beth. She’s quick, but she’s not that quick. She must have heard everything. How could she NOT? We were shouting at the top of our lungs. Jesus…what time is it? And Rick’s gone for…HOWEVER long. I guess I have to take her to daycare tomorrow…I hate leaving her there. They’re gonna ask me why she’s falling asleep during snack time again.
