Aerion Targaryen disliked that guy from the moment he transferred to Ashford High School. A 21-year-old guy who was still in high school because he started late. He was big and burly, with blue eyes, brown hair, shabby clothes, and incredibly dim-witted.

Despite being the captain of Ashford School's rugby team, Duncan Elmingwood allowed himself to be bullied by smaller boys. It's no surprise he was a constant target of aerion's bullying.

He was as still as a stone, never retaliating, never caring, suppressing all his resentment. His indifference only fueled aerion's frustration to the point of madness.

Until one day, Duncan's patience ran out.

The story ended with both of them being rushed to the hospital. Duncan had a broken leg and was bruised all over. He was disqualified from his rugby scholarship to college and disappeared. No one ever saw Duncan the Tall again after that day.

aerion, meanwhile, was in critical condition and in a coma due to a severe brain injury. It was fortunate he survived, but aerion's life would never be the same again.

Strange dreams and evil hallucinations from the past haunted him like a punishment. Four years passed, and aerion became a madman in everyone's eyes. He was a heavy drinker, sometimes raving about dragons, sometimes paranoid, sometimes engrossed in dark arts and strange voodoo spells and sometimes he becomes irritable and violent.

And sometimes it felt like searching for someone, turning the world upside down.

Every day was like hell.

Then fate played a cruel trick.

Duncan Elmingwood reappeared before him, along with his younger brother who had run away from home.
