female alphas are said to be less fertile than omegas, they can still carry but it can bring struggle, some are straight up unable to. I thought that fit Francesca well when it came to the fertility plot. I think if she thought she was beta but presented as omega she wouldn't be struggling so much with the idea, she may even embrace it. But if she was alpha that's a whole new issue she has to wrap her head around because she was never prepared for that outcome. Same way she's struggling in canon with her sexuality.
I was thinking of her also being the only female alpha of the family. How everyone expected that to be Eloise but it was Fran, similar how the public expected El to be the leabian but it wasn't hah.
For Michaela I don't really have an argument tbh, she just gives omega vibes to me, maybe it's the yuri proportions lol, but I like the idea of an experienced, kinda bratty and flirty omega with a shy, not as experienced alpha. The extrovert omega x introvert alpha is a favorite of mine. It must be also bc whenever I join a fandom I see poc, specially black women, being boxed in alpha or beta roles ngl, so I like to hc them as omega bc they can be soft and nurturing too, they can have those moments
