boukenger momotaro episode my beloved.... it takes raising a child for eiji to realize his childhood was perhaps not exactly the best or the healthiest... i know he gets that scene with his mother's tear earlier on in his story but i do think being a father made him understand the depth of that emotion. to be someone who was raised for greatness and bloodline and to look at a child who is the culmination of a mythological legacy and say to him (and really yourself) that you have intrinsic value as a human being regardless of whether or not you live up to your name..... ough.

my biggest "i will die on this hill" boukenger headcanon is that the boukenger relationship chart can also be accurately described as 2 throuples in a trench coat (masumi and souta are just natsuki's co-boyfriends.... for now) people are just too ignorant to see it. and i get it! i too lived my life being too enamored by the sakura/akashi/eiji throuple to see anything else but once you look beyond you shall be enlightened just trust me on this one
