Ichigo post “Zangetsu” training, while still actively being viciously assaulted by 2-3 nameless Bounts:

Zangetsu/White: “Ichigo you need to understand the Cloth on Zangetsu is not mere decoration, This is a key component of your Shikai so listen up.”

Zangetsu/White: “See this windmill technique i’m doing? This is a move used to create distance for yourself when you are being physically overwhelmed. Once you have this distance it’s important that you capitalize off it by Chaining Getsuga Tensho into the enemy to wear them down.

Zangetsu/White: “At this point you have a couple of options you can either enter Bankai and finish them off or you could use Zangetsu like a flail if you are too exhausted to fight up close.”

Zangetsu/White: “You can essentially use me as a bow, flail, or sword depending on what the situation calls for, but for the love of god stop bashing your head into a wall every fight just because you are to prideful to use me properly.”

*Ichigo, speaking exclusively to Yhwach*

Ichigo: “Thank you Zangetsu, you’ve shown me I’ve been too reliant on the use of my Bakai I know what I need to do now”
