Pride weekend.

I went to pride for the first time.

I had glitter on my face.

If you know me or follow me over on my insta you’ll have seen both of these things but on Saturday me and my best-friend went into bournemouth to the three day pride festival and honestly just spent time marvelling and how calm the atmosphere was. It was amazing to see and feel this sense of openness, of freedom and of not being judged…

Having a fun day at #bournefree #pride2016

Went to the local pride fesitval Bourne Free today and it was really cool. The parade was rad and there was just a really nice atmosphere, town packed full. Cool seeing the increase in trans representation, a 14ft gay Jesus, and marching bands that came all the way from Austria just for the event. Each of the emergency services’ involvement in the parade was a nice gesture as ever and I learnt about Lesbian & Gay Liason Officers (LAGLOs) with their pimped-out LGBT police cars.

I need more LGBT friends so I can have people to hang out with for pride next year!
