I'm also wondering how the hell we white people actually have managed to normalize Islamophobia to the degree it is affecting the world today? Islamophobic attacks are happening on a daily basis yet still we are all flabbergasted when a white person engages in a hateful massacre?

President Bouteflika recently announced that he was running for his 5th term. He is an old, ill man that, having ruled Algeria for 20 years, many Algerians perceive to be the root of their problems.

Tens of thousands of people gathered in the Capital, Algiers, to protest about their frustration by a lack of economic opportunity and the corruption of an elite that has governed the country since it gained independence from France.
