Hi guys! :) I'm new to Tumbler, but I imagine this will be an IT account. Here's an AU (genderbent AU) I've been thinking about for quite some time!
So, I imagine the Losers' Club, as girls, wouldn't be friends with Beverly. I think they'd pity her, but nothing else. I also think they'd be the novel age (10-11, also still in 1958) and would be really tight knit. Like, really really tight knit. I also imagine they'd have a 'favorite' Bowers Gang member, but for no real reason. Kinda like the novel, ig?
I imagine that they would spend their time in The Barrens, just like the novel. I think they might fancy a treehouse over an underground clubhouse? Idk. But I think they'd hide it very well from Bowers, like how they used sticks to cover the trapdoor, they'd probably use a really thick and dense tree.
I think they'd be really affectionate, like switching clothes sometimes or cuddling, something like that. I also think they'd have a different relationship with the Bowers Gang, but definitely not an affectionate one.
I think Billie would have a super cottage core/ soft girl vibe
Like, little dresses with flower designs or baby color skirts and shirts
She'd definitely love to draw and write, and would read her stories aloud in an attempt to help her stutter
I also think her favorite Bowers Gang member would be Hennessy 'Henley' Bowers (fem. Henry)
Not for the reason she's nice to Billie, but because she and Billie have things in common, and have dim respect for each other
She'd definitely love to sew and bake
Her friends always ask her for sweet treats
I also think she'd love animals, like a lot
If there's a stray cat/dog she'll stop to pet it
And she loves to hang around the Hanlon Farm just so she can pet their goats (I'll get into the goats later)
She most definitely wore white Converse, no doubt in my mind
I think she'd love to experiment with makeup, and haircuts/hairstyles, so she always looks different
She also must've had Rachel or Michelle as her favorite Loser
She DEFINITELY had a crush on at least 1 Bowers Gang member 🙏
Like Billie, her style would be soft
Like, little white skirts and baby pink baggy sweaters soft
And there's no way she didn't love hens
Like idk why, she'd just like to hold hens
I think she'd be more aware of her father's (male Ms. K.) manipulation than male Eddie, so she'd try to test the waters
Her favorite Loser is def Rachel
She'd come home with scabby knees and mud on her legs
She probably liked to play softball/baseball, unlike Eddie
Her favorite animal was a horse, I feel it 😭🙏
She definitely wore high tops or ballet shoes
She loved to run, no doubt
She definitely broke more than her arm, without even trying
Regina 'Snatch' Huggins (fem. Belch) was most definitely her favorite Bowers Gang member
She loved her size and height (I imagine she'd, Edith, be like, 4'4 or 4'5), and would probably day dream about her
Regina probably also reminds her of Billie
Rachel 'Richie/ Trashmouth' Tozier
Rachel had a rebellious style, probably like the Bowers Gang
Minus her ruby red glasses
I think she'd have a nostril piecing
She definitely LOVED Victoria 'Vicky' Criss (female Vic)
She definitely had a crush on her
She was definitely a chatterbox
I think she probably talked to anyone who listened, even if it was someone like Henley Bowers or Regina Huggins
Her favorite Loser was Billie, though she was soft for Edith
I feel like she'd had short brown hair
Like a bob but a bit longer, kinda like Marilynn Monroe
Especially Frankenstein/ I was a Teenage Werewolf
She definitely loved dogs, and I think she'd have a pet dog
Speaking of pets, she definitely had a whole bunch
Like, chinchillas, hamsters, snakes, fish, you name it
She probably admired the Bowers Gang
Not their actions, but their bodies and beauty probably
She definitely had the biggest smoking addiction out of all the Losers
She LOVED playing war, I just know
Stanley was definitely more strict about her religion than Stan
She also probably had a better sense of humor
Most definitely had Petra Gordon (female Peter) as her favorite Bowers Gang member
She LOVED watching Petra run as she played softball/baseball
I feel like she'd still have scars on her cheeks where Henley whitewashed her face
She's still salty abt that
Like Rachel, she also likes Vicky
No real reason besides her beauty
She also loved shirts that had any bird or flowers on them
She loved playing war with Rachel
She definitely hated make-up
Like, she could not stand the way it felt on her face, besides lip gloss, which she loved
She also HATED her Converse getting dirty 😭🙏
I feel like Regina's comment about "a big 'ol set of titties" wouldn't bother Bennie as much as it did Ben
Bennie also definitely loved skirts and doing her hair, and panting her nails
Her favorite Bowers Gang member was still Regina, though
She admired Regina's looks
She was also very sweet, and i for some reason imagine her smelling like cupcakes
Favorite Loser was Billie, since they didn't have Bev
She HATED it when someone commented on her body
She didn't wear hoodies like Benjamin, though
She just wore something more covering the next day
I think her and Bowers would have a love-hate relationship
She'd probably help Bowers with chores in exchange that she didn't get beat out that day
She probably wore black and jeans most days
Idk why, just how I think she would dress
She definitely had goats, ducks, heifers, and other things over sheep, so she didn't have to kill them
She definitely had really long braids
I think she'd be comfortable around Henley
Not friends, but friendly-er than Henry and Mike
She most definitely loved Bip and Bop
Henley was her favorite Bowers Gang member and Billie was her favorite Loser
She loved spending time with Losers more than the rest of them, def her fav hobby
They were definitely a lot more complicated than the boys. They were probably a lot more affectionate, though.
I feel like Henley and Victoria would steal clothes from each other, and Regina and Stevie (female Moose Sadler) would love to wrestle.
They all definitely loved smoking together, and having sleepovers. She also loved doing each other's makeup, and probably all did the Weekly Shopper job together. They all also definitely had a favorite Loser.
Henley was definitely really rebellious against her mother
She definitely wore tiny skirts and short shirts to get on her nerves, and always that pink leather motorcycle jacket
I think she'd do her own piercings too; snake bites, septum, tongue, lip, you name it
She was definitely the smallest out of Regina and Victoria, and loved being in their arms for no reason
She also definitely stole their clothes
Her fav Loser was Billie because they could relate kinda
She definitely loved vanilla perfume for no reason
I think she'd love to box, idk why
She definitely slept outside sometimes just to sleep with Bip and Bop
She definitely had a nice body too lol
She loved Regina and Victoria equally, so she didn't have a favorite friend

She was also probably the meanest Bowers Gang member, but Henley was more violent and Vicky was more witty
I feel like she'd always be chewing on a lollipop too
