I really enjoy the great variety of characters and the different stories / franchises and or fandoms they are coming from, which I believe is an aspect that fits very well into the setting of Deltarune, given the many unique characters and Dark Worlds that there are ^^

You have indeed my friend, and it is very much a delight to listen and hear about your thoughts and ideas. The amount of characters, and what role you have given them for this AU, is very impressive :-.)

Genuinely neat deltarune theory but yeah, "Carol locking Susie in jail" sounds almost as wild as "Asgore ran over Dess"/lh

The choice of Carol doing this sounds very drastic and harsh, and while I do believe that she is not as cold and uncaring, as we saw her in the few glimpses and mentions we had for now, I also hold the believe that it is in-character for her, to do this.

Carol wants to preserve the status quo, others have already mentioned it but the Holiday's home is "frozen in place" it is always Christmas there, she wants to keep Noelle save, in her own twisted way, by making sure she is good, and does good, probably out of fear that the same that happened to Dess, will happen to Noelle as well, if Carol does not do everything in her power to prevent this.

Susie, does not fit into this picture, not only because she dared to touch and take Dess's guitar, taking it from the room, the place that, apparently has not been touched ever since her oldest daughter has vanished, but also because she might be a "danger to Noelle", that danger being an influence for Noelle, that could put her into a direction of independence, that Dess had.

And of course, if we go that it was her, who Kris talked with over the phone, she also wants to keep Susie away, from getting into the shelter.

So what better way is there, as to to put the "bad apple" some in Hometown believe Susie to be, into the jail of the police station?

With the current state of the church, it would be easy to make Susie the scapegoat of this mess. And with her being in jail, she would be unable to go to the festival with Noelle, and be kept away from the shelter.

The scene of the light-bulbs exploding and the circus going dark in the new TADC trailer made me wonder about something:

Given how in the very same scene we see motion- and featureless bubbles, what if Caine deleted Bubble?

Maybe something was said, that either way in a moment of affect or frustration, caused Cain to do it, which is the scene where we see him popping all the Bubbles around him, which ends with Bubble being gone.

This however does not end well, and Caine starts to get more unstable, maybe because he realizes that he isn't feeling better, because he deleted a part of himself, out of regret. Or perhaps he believes to be doing better now. Or maybe it is something else?

Going back to the scene where the light-bulbs are exploding, I believe this happens shortly afterwards...followed by the one of Caine glitching and twitching, after this, things are really going to be unpleasant as we see the cast falling.

What are your new years goals? Or is it gonna be a chill year

I have to admit I haven't given it much thought, but I do have some :3

First, I would like to go to this museum exhibition that runs until the beginning of April, it is about a collection of minerals and I am very intrigued to see it

Second I am planning to finally finish my book / story, I would be very happy if I would be able to get the first draft done around June or July of 2026.

Third, trying to apply for my title of "Engineer", my school education allows it that I can apply for it after having worked for around three years, so I am curious if with the work I have done, that I can get it.

Lastly, I am thinking about learning a new language, I am planning to go on vacation to Trieste, so I was thinking about learning Italian :-.)

Bonus: I am also digitizing old photo negatives, so, perhaps I will be able to finish the box that I am currently having at my home. That would be nice ^^,,, Yours sincerely Bowler

Re-watching Angel Hare, I noticed a photograph in "Case 4 - Field Work"

In the middle we have Zag and on the left I assume Gabby, so I wonder, is the person on the right who is obscured by light, perhaps Cam?

Edit:

Given how in "Bonus Disc - First Save" there is a picture where presumably on the right is Cam's Fran, I think it makes sense that it is Cam.

This has nothing to do with me theorizing, but I think it is adorable that a photograph exists of Francis and Zag together and smiling :-.)

Are you excited for the tadc gun episode?

I am, and at this point I already have watched it twice (once in English, and then also in German. I have to say, TADC is one of the few dubbed series, where I believe the German synchronization is done well.)

To this episode, there are three things I would like to say, under the read more :-.) :

First Kinger: Today I have thought about Kinger, as well as the importance of the chess piece he resembles, he is the "King", which is from movement and power, the weakest, for this chess figure can only move one field each turn (with the exception of the castling rule of course.)

However, the King IS also the most vital figure in the game of chess, that needs protection, for if the King is without defense / has no one to defend him, and can no longer move, it is check mate and the game is over.

What I try to say is that I believe Kinger's design as being the chess piece "The King" might not be completely random, for while the King appears weak, he is very vital and important for the whole Game :-.)

Now Jax: Yeah....Jax is trying to act and live in the facade he has built himself around as a defense, but Pomni has seen trough that charade. He however wants to keep that up, and for now, refuses support. Jax continues to alienate himself further and further from the rest of the crew, who begin to no longer accept his behavior. Let us remember what Kinger said in Episode 3

"In this world, the worst thing you can do is… make someone think they're not wanted or loved."

Which I think Jax is something he does to himself, in his attempt to protect himself, he gives up his humanity / what makes one human, or at least, an important part of it and that puts him more and more away from everyone else. And the others are trough with putting up with him and his shenanigans. For Pomni to connect with him it certainly is difficult as well, given how Jax pushed her away and how he acted. (Although I believe this won't be the last attempt of her trying.)

His refusal to acknowledge his emotions, and not opening up is dangerous, and as others have already theorized and put in better words than I could.

Right now, I believe Jax is the one at the closest risk to abstract.

Lastly, I want to talk about Cain and then I will, for a moment at the end go back to Jax.

As the Ringmaster and A.I. meant to oversee the Amazing Digital Circus, he is not doing great anymore. He yearns for admiration from the Players / Characters, which he is not getting.

Cain refuses to acknowledge the wishes of those he is meant to entertain, repeatedly. Especially with Episode 5 he fears his own adventures are less liked than those suggested. He believes he knows best, and when the others can't see that, it frustrates him and makes him angry.

With the outcome of the votes, I think this too will increase his instability, which makes me think about something.

My current theory is that soon, he will lash out completely, and while his anger is often directed at Zooble, something tells me it won't be them who is met with his wrath / blind rage. Let us remember what they said in Episode 4:

"You really want to find out? The only thing holding Caine back is the fact that he likes us. I wouldn't push it."

Despite how they question and criticize Cain's adventures, I doubt that it will be Zooble.

It is going to be Jax, for now, he has gotten away free from any consequences (except in Episode 5 where the others voted for him to be humiliated and in Episode 4, but that was Gangles doing / she was given that power due to being manager) but I believe that something will happen, that it hits him instead. He will push it too far, and Cain will loose it.

And since I have begun to watch the Amazing Digital Circus, I was thinking that eventually, we will see the cellar again.

Jax will end up in there, or at least there will be an attempt to put him in the cellar, by Cain, whether he starts to abstract or not.

The question is, will there be someone, anyone, who spares him for this fate by reaching our their hand towards him? Or try to rescue him from the basement?

One last au role rework I swear 😅: Scratch the animaniacs, I'm now learning more towards Bugs Bunny himself as the dark prince. (Also, cool new banner :) where's it from?)
