I live in the southern hemisphere

creative process:

I first got the scenario of wren taking a stroll in a autumn setting, then got asked if one of my sonas could also be in the pic, which I said yes under the condition I'd be swimming in a lake or river nearby

after I finished the remaining queue I had and was gonna start on their comm, they also suggested wren being over a bridge, which I thought offered a perfect spot to place bowsie on

as I've drawn wren a good few times before, I ended up jumping straight into the render

What brushes do you use to achieve such a nice soft texture???

My main art software is Krita and these are both brushes that come with the app :>

here's what my art looked like prior to switching to krita (last five being just right around when I did)

I've always preferred using textured brushes cause I felt individual strokes blended better with them

definitely the one my vaporeon sona has, you look at it and you can tell every bit of it is very squishy
