I can’t believe I was doing this. I was going to hate myself afterwards if I didn’t win. You see, I was currently at kian and Jc’s house filming a video with them. They recently just did a challenge where they put eight guys in a box and whoever lasted the longest got ten thousand dollars. It was pretty interesting and it did really well on there channel. They decided that they wanted to another one but instead of it being guys it was gonna be girls. And unfortunately I was one of the girls that got asked to do it.
“You already know what’s upppppppp!” Jc yelled as they started the intro to the video. “Today were back and since the last video did really well we decided to make another part to it, only this time with a bunch of girls.”
All of us girls laughed from behind them.
“Girl power!” I shouted out jokingly.
Kian and Jc just rolled their eyes.
“Anywyasss..,” Jc continued on. “We have all the girls right here and you just saw them introduce themselves so now there gonna pick a number out of the hat in my hands and whatever number they pick is the order that there gonna get in the box.”
I was nervous. I hope I got a good number.
“Y/N, your up!” Kian called while holding the hat in front of my hands.
“Please be a good number.” I said while reaching in grabbing a piece of paper.
Once I had the paper I opened and a smile immediately came across my face.
“Yes! Number one haha see ya losers.” I shouted at the rest of the girls before going into the box.
“Dude, your girlfriend’s crazy.” Kian said while laughing at my antics.
Colby just laughed and nodded his head.
After about a minute everybody was officially settled in and ready to go. I was in the back left corner and Tara was next to me. The other girls were spread out amongst themselves. The reason I chose the corner was so I didn’t get too tempted to go out since I was close to the entrance and I was also closer to Colby who was sitting on the bench that was behind the box. Genius right?
“Alright we're gonna close it, you guys ready?” Jc called out to us.
We all cheered. And with that Kian drilled the door shut and the game was on.
This was gonna be a long day.

It’s been about a couple of hours now and so far everyone was doing alright. It was hot but it was bearable.
“Alright, it’s been about two hours now and we thought it would be the perfect time to start the first challenge. Who’s ready?” Jc yelled out to us while talking to the camera.
We all groaned jokingly.
“Seems like they are,” He said while chuckling. “Alright, so if you don’t know how are challenges work basically we write down how many people there are in the box on a piece of paper. Once we do that we circle a number and whoever picks that number has to do a consequence. The only catch is though, that they get to pick someone to do it with them.”
“You better not pick me.” I said to Tara.
She laughed. “If I’m picking anyone it’s gonna be you girl.”
“I swear to god if you pick me I’ll make sure you don’t get the ten thousand dollars.” I threatened jokingly of course.
“Try me.” She retorted back to me while glaring slightly.
We had a staring contest but it was rudely interrupted by the boys outside the box.
“Alright girls, call out a number.” Jc said. The marker and paper in his hand.
“Two!” Franny shouted.
“Safe.” Kian said. She let out a sigh of relief.
“Four!” Nezza shouted next to Franny.
Jc shook his head. “Also safe.”
“Eight.” Tara shouted from my side.
The guys were quite for a minute before Kian slammed the paper on the box. The number eight was circled in red marker.
“Nooooo.” Tara groaned while sagging her shoulders.
“Alright, as you can see that was the lucky number so Kian here is gonna pass the sweatshirt to you when we open the door and then it’s up to you to decide who gets to wear it with you.”
Jc said while getting the drill to get the door open. Once they got the screws off Kian handed the sweatshirts to Tara and she just looked around at the girls.
“Bitch you better not pick me.” I told her once her gaze landed on me.
She just stared at me.
“Here ya go girly.”
I groaned while the girls laughed.
“This is so not fair.” I stated while pulling the black hoodie over my body.
“Hey, were in this together.” Tara replied while also putting the hoodie on.
Once we had it on it immediately felt warmer.
“How ya feeling babe?” Colby shouted from the bench.
I turned around so I could face him.
“I feel like I’m about to pass out.” I said while fanning myself with the bathroom pass.
Colby just frowned.
“Please don’t do that.”
I laughed in response. “I’ll try not to.”
“Hey!” Kian shouted while coming over to where I was placed in the box. “No talking.”
Colby and I just laughed.
“Your mean Kian.” I said to him.
He just shrugged his shoulders.
“Deal with it.” Someone was sassy today.

If you had told us a few years ago that we’d be living in California, had achieved most of our goals, and were going to be dating our dream men; we’d probably think you were joking but appreciated the optimism.
Yet here are we are, about to film a video for Kian Lawley and JC Caylen’s YouTube channel. The Box Challenge: Girl Edition. Me, my best friend, Natalia and 6 other YouTubers were going to be in a box and the last one wins $10,000.
Me and Nat were confident we’d last a long time in the box. We had been there when Kian and JC did The Box Challenge for the first time with the boys; Corey, Mathew, JC’s dad, Ricky, Crawford, Sam, and lastly, my boyfriend, Colby.
Now it was our turn.
“YOUALREADYKNOWWHATSUUUUUUP!!!!”, JC and Kian begin their intro with Bobby being their cameraman.
While they explain what's happening, me and Natalia are talking with the rest of the girls; Mariah, Franny, Tara, Gabbie, Nezza and Kristen. Jc’s girlfriend, Chelsey, was here as well but she wasn't participating. Everyone seemed pretty confident about winning, though Natalia seemed concerned for me.
“You did drink enough water, right Lee?”, she asked for about the millionth time.
“Yes mom.”, I responded. Just as I asked her, I hear Kian and JC.
“Let's meet our...contestants. Come on.”
Now it was time to introduce ourselves. One by one the girls said their name and a statement about themselves. Me and Nat decided to do our intros together like Sam and Colby did. We also agreed to wear shorts and a bikini/sports bra so we didn't get hot easily.
“Hey guys, it’s Leah and Natalia”, I started.
“And we didn't have anything better to do.”, she finished as we both shrugged at the camera.
After everyone introduced themselves, we all lined up next to the box. Kian and JC started telling us the rules. We were only allowed a baby water bottle and a granola bar as well as one bathroom pass.
When Franny and Kristen requested that they get two passes since they are one their period, I couldn't help but laugh at K and J’s flustered reaction. It was simply priceless.

When Kian suggested that they do a girls edition to “Last Youtuber wins $10,000”, he didn't hesitate to ask me if I wanted to participated. Of course I accepted and I knew Leah would too, but that's what worries me. I just didn't want her to pass out while being in there but I knew that wouldn't stop her from competing regardless of the risk.
And so here we were, all 8 girls- me and Leah included- in a line waiting to pick a number to see what order we’d be going into the box.
JC handed us each water and a granola bar.
“Hey babe, do you wanna tell Andy to edit something?”, Kian asked me.
“Yeah, Andy edit crystals”, I stuck out my hand, “and a shovel coming out of my bra please.” I stuck my hand into the bra and pretended to have a shovel then tossed it.
Bobby, Leah, JC and Kian couldn't help but laugh.
“Its a small little one.”, Leah laughs even harder.

We all picked our numbers and the order went; Kristen, Me, Franny, Tara, Leah, Mariah, Gabbie, and Nezza.
Once we were all in, it was game on. Sorta.
“The best woman win.”, Kian says as he closes the “door”.
JC then drills it shut. As he talks to the camera, we were all talking to each other and making fun of the guys when they did this.
And then it happened!
We all started singing Ariana Grande; just having a grand ole time with each other. Slightly forgetting that this was a competition.
I kept glancing towards Leah and Kristen to make sure they were okay. I may be competitive but when it comes to the well-being of my friends, fuck the money.
