Part 1 Part 2
~Lena~
It felt like I was seeing the world through a different lense every time. Smoke filled my lungs with every hit I took. Mind turning to mush. Thoughts crashing together. Body relaxing and just enjoying the company. I couldn’t stop the smile creeping on my face. Gareth took notice.
”Whatcha thinking about Peaches?”
“Everything and nothing. I’m glad I found a smoking buddy. I was afraid I’d be alone all the time since I moved. Not that I don’t mind being alone. Gotta have space sometimes, you know?”
Jesus I’m rambling. Shut up!
“My best friend was my buddy.” My smile became sad at the thought of them. I missed them so much. Sure we talked on the phone, but it wasn’t the same as hanging out together. “You would like them. We have similar tastes, though I’d argue she’s a bit more girly than me.”
”Well, can’t wait to meet her eventually. Who knows? Might fall in love.” Gareth raises his eyebrows and I could help but giggle.
”You can try but she plays for the same team if you catch my drift.” I took a sip of my drink to avoid cotton mouth.
I can see his eyes widen like it clicked and he nods in understanding. “Do you?”
I choked. I wasn’t expecting that question so soon.
Gareth patted my back to help me, “I’m sorry. That was personal. You don’t have to answer that.”
Once I regained my composure, I reassured him. “No no, it’s okay. It just caught me off guard. I, uh, I play both sides.”
“Hey, that’s cool. I don’t judge. I think one of Eddie’s other friends likes girls too. You should meet her.”
I giggled, “Trying to set me up, Gareth?”
He playfully scoffs, “Ha, you wish.” then passed the joint back to me.
I must admit as soon as he mentioned Eddie, my mind went astray. Gareth did say he was a fellow stoner. I wonder what he’s like when he’s high? Does he mellow out or get more amped up? How many rounds can he go? And I’m not just talking about smoking. What do his lips taste like?
I had not realized how deep in thought I was until lungs began yelling at me. It felt like they were on fire. Like a tiny dragon had set them ablaze. A coughing fit erupted as I passed the joint back to Gareth. He took it from me laughing as I scrambled for my drink to ease the pain.
I shoved his arm, “Fuck you! I’d like to see you take a big hit and not almost die!” My voice raspy as I still try to recover.
Gareth took that as a challenge.
I watched him inhale, his chest puffing out and the joint burning fiercely.
A few seconds pass by right before he has his own coughing fit. Immediately regretting his choice. He shoves the joint back to me. Now it was my turn to laugh, cackle even.
Between my laughing and his coughing, the music that was playing from inside my room was being drowned out.
Wiping the tears from our eyes for different reasons. I hand him his drink to ease his suffering.
“I didn’t mean for you to actually do it, you lightweight!”
Gareth looked at me like he was busted, “What gave it away?”
I took another hit then blew the smoke in his direction. “When I asked if you had a spot and you hesitated.” He rubbed the back of his neck looking embarrassed. “Stoners always have a spot. With or without company. I wouldn’t have thought less of you if you didn’t want to.”
”No no no, you’re right. I am a lightweight and to be more honest, you're way cooler than all of us combined Peaches.”
I couldn’t help the blush that spread across my cheeks. “Oh shut up! I just met you guys and you’re totally cool!” I offer the roach to him but he declines. Signaling that he has tapped out. I respect it and place it on the table in my room to remind myself to place it with the others that are for emergency use.
“I mean I don’t know how you guys can get any better?”
~3rd person~
This was it! His chance, his opportunity to be a wingman for his best friend. Gareth wasn’t an idiot. He saw the way Eddie looked at you and you him. There was something there.
“We’re a band.” He tells her seemingly nonchalant. But inside he's nervous.
Peaches snaps her head to him, her expression unreadable. “Are you serious?”
“Yeeeaahh. Me, Eddie, Jeff and Doug.” Gareth rubs the back of his neck nervously. Doubting that his plan wasn’t going to work. “Are we still cool?”
”Are you shitting me?!? That’s fucking awesome! I’m friends with a band?! That’s the best brag I could ever have!”
Gareth let out a breath he didn’t even know he was holding.
Peaches on the other hand couldn’t catch a breath.
“What’s your band name? Do you guys perform? Do you have music recorded? Can I hear it please? Are you guitar or drums? I’m leaning more to drums but that could just be me.”
”Peaches! Breath!” He grabbed her by the shoulders.
She was stunned for a moment then let out a giggle. “I’m sorry.”
Gareth chuckled and let go of her. “It’s okay. We’re called Corroded Coffin. Sometimes we do at a place called the Hideout. I think I may have a copy that we did and yes you can listen to it. You’re right, I play drums. Doug is bass. Both Jeff and Eddie are guitar though Eddie is lead and vocals.”
”Wow! This is so exciting! I will now be your number one fan!” Peaches couldn’t help but be giddy about it all. Her new friends were amazing. There was however one last mystery. “Wait, if your band is Corroded Coffin? Then what’s Hellfire Club?” She pointed towards the t- shirt Gareth as well as all the other boys were wearing.
”Oh. Uh, you don’t need to worry about that Peach. It’s nothing.” Gareth tried to deflect.
”That’s not fair Gare! You all have the same shirt. It has to mean something! Is it because I’m a girl?”
He could hear the sadness showing in her voice. But he was afraid you’d make fun of them. “No, it’s not because you're a girl. It’s just… you’re gonna think it’s stupid or weird. Or that we’re…”
”Freaks?” She finished. “Listen, I already told Eddie that if not conforming to society brands you a freak? Then count me as one.”
Hearing that from Peaches just solidifies for him that she isn’t like everyone else in this god forsaken town.
She can see the hesitation in his eyes, “You don’t have to tell if you-“
”It’s our D&D club!” Gareth blurted out with closed eyes. Too afraid to see her reaction.
When the silence became too much he slowly opened his eyes to see Peaches with her mouth wide open in shock. There’s no way she heard that correctly.
“As in Dungeons and Dragons?”
Gareth rubs the back of his neck nervously nodding. What he didn’t anticipate was Peaches punching his arm in excitement which nearly caused him to fall off the roof.
She reached out to steady him, “ I’m so sorry I didn’t mean to hit you that hard! Are you okay?!”
“Yeah I’m good.” Gareth chuckled. “So I take it, you know the game?”
”I’ve never played but I know some kids I went to school with did. I always wanted to play but found it so intimidating so I kept chickening out.”
”Seriously?! Can you get any cooler!?”
“I could say the same about you guys!”
They both shared a laugh then continued talking about anything and everything. Before they knew it the sky began to grow dark and a pair of headlights made their way up the driveway.
“That would be my mother. Would you like to stay for dinner?” Peaches stands and climbs through her window back into her room. Gareth follows suit.
”I appreciate the offer but I should head home to my folks.”
”That’s okay. I figured I would ask first before my mom does.”
Peaches then grabs their trash and tosses it in the bin. Her eyes catch the roach laying on the table. She takes and puts it away with the rest that she has saved.
As both Gareth and Peaches make their way downstairs, she hears her mothers voice. “Lena! Is your friend staying for dinner?”
Peaches winks at Gareth as if to say “told ya”.
They stand in the archway of the kitchen, “Mom, this is Gareth. Gareth, my mother.” Peaches introduces. “And no. I’m taking him home so I’ll be back.”
“Oh okay. It was nice meeting you sweetie. Drive safe Lena.”
“It was nice to meet you too.” Gareth waves then follows Peaches.
“Remember, drive safe Lena.” Gareth teases as they get in the car.
“Shut up! Now it sounds weird when you guys use my actual name.” Peaches shoves him playfully. To her it didn't sound right for the boys to say her name. She was now Peaches to them, even if in just a short amount of time that they’ve known each other. Although her mind wasn’t objecting to the idea of Eddie saying her name. He might be the only exception.
The drive was filled with more conversation and music playing. It wasn’t long until Peaches pulled up to the curb of Gareth’s house. “Thanks for the ride Peaches.”
Before she could think, Peaches pulled Gareth into a tight hug, “Thank you.”
“What for?”, he questioned.
“Everything.”, she pulled away, “Becoming my friend, introducing me to the boys, hanging out with me; I was so worried I wouldn’t find people I actually wanted to be around.”
”Well, now you can’t get rid of us.”
Peaches laughs, “That’s fine with me. And don’t worry, I won't tell the boys that you told me about Corroded Coffin and Hellfire. I could tell you wanted to keep them a secret.”
Little did she know, Gareth wasn’t planning on telling the boys that she knew either. He wanted to keep the game going.
“I knew I could trust you Peaches. See ya at school.”
Gareth exits the car, gives one last wave then heads into his house.
Peaches makes her way back home, eats dinner with her parents, finishes up some homework, and climbs into bed. The whole day replays in her mind. A smile never leaves until her eyes grow heavy and sleep takes over.
Meanwhile on the other side of town, a certain someone had trouble falling asleep.
Eddie was tossing and turning, his thoughts running rampant. Did Peaches like Gareth? What did they talk about? What did they do? Did he even have a shot to begin with? What did her room look like? Okay, that’s weird. Eddie shook his head trying to purge the thoughts. The little green monster was still festering and out for blood. Why does he get to spend time with her?
“I’ll just have a little chat with him tomorrow. Yeah that sounds good.”
Eddie took one last pull from his joint to calm him before closing his eyes and hoping that dreamland would be in his favor.

Part 1 Part 3
~3rd Person~
Peaches felt so much better about school and Hawkins in general. She had friends, her boys she decided to call them. And according to Dustin, she’d have a few more. She loves the nickname she was given. She never cared about fitting in but she was glad she found others who made her feel like she belonged. Hellfire made her feel like she was always meant to be there.
After lunch, the group began to separate, walking to their respective classes. Each member bid her farewell.
Before walking down the hall she called out, “Hey Gareth!”
He turned around, “What's up Peaches?”
“After school, did you still wanna have a ‘grass’ session with me?” she asked nervously, pushing up her glasses.
“Hell yeah! I’ll wait for you in the parking lot.”
“Perfect!” she smiled, turning in the opposite direction. Unaware that Eddie was right behind her, only able to catch Gareth’s response. Were they meeting after school? Did you like Gareth? He couldn't help feeling that little green monster creeping up again but it instantly faded when he saw her jump.
“Fuck Eddie!”
He liked hearing her say his name. She somehow made it sound so much sweeter.
~Lena~
“You scared the daylights out of me!” I smacked his arm trying to catch my breath as he raised them in defense.
“Forgive me, milady, that was not my intent.”
I couldn't help but giggle. “Uh huh sure. Then praytell, what is your intent, good sir?”
“To escort fair maiden Peaches to her next educational torture.” Eddie bows to sell the bit.
I had to contain the blush creeping up my cheeks. All the boys are using the nickname but it feels different when Eddie uses it.
When he looks up at me I shake my head, beginning to walk. “Don't you have a class too?” He didn't need to know yet that I had a study hall.
He stands up and jogs to catch up with me. “Mrs, O’Donnell can wait. Besides, I wanted to know what you thought about good ole Hawkins high.”
I shrugged my shoulders, “It’s not so bad. There is a clear imbalance in the hierarchy and everyone seems way too invested in basketball. I personally find it boring. Besides, I’m more of a band girl anyway.”
“Finally! Someone normal!” Eddie cheers out. I couldn't help but laugh at his theatrics.
“Everyone here seems small-minded, that they don't like change or the unconventional.”
“That's Hawkins for ya sweetheart. If you aren't cookie cutter then you're branded a ‘freak’.”
I forced myself to ignore the pet name. But it made me sad to think. Is that how the boys were labeled? Bullied because they dressed differently or liked other things that weren’t sports? Hawkins was so ass backward and it wasn't going to force me into conformity.
“Well, I guess that makes me a freak then.” I turned to face him as I stopped in front of the library.
Eddie looked at me with a look I couldn't quite place. Maybe I shouldn't read too much into it. He pointed at the library questioningly. “Oh, did I forget to mention I have a study hall?” I teased then curtsied. “I thank you good sir for the company. Now I bid thee farewell.”
He smirks at me and takes my hand, “But of course. Anything for Maiden Peaches.” Eddie kissed the back of my hand then sauntered off down the hall.
I let go of the breath I didn't know I was holding in. I could feel how red my cheeks were as I walked through the doors looking for a table to sit at and attempt to study. Which proved to be more difficult than intended. Head clouded with Eddie when I knew it shouldn't be. C’mon Lena, you can't have a crush this quickly! You just met him! Besides, he's just being nice because you're the new girl. At least that's what I tried to convince myself. Maybe I could poke around and ask questions with Gareth? Though they seemed like best friends, he probably wouldn't share secrets with me.
Worth a shot.
~Eddie~
God, how was I crushing so hard already?! She’s absolutely perfect! I wanted to know everything about her. What music she listened to, and what movies she watched. Did she know D&D? How would she react to me having a band? I couldn't stop thinking about her.
After I walked away from her, I felt like I was on cloud nine. Fuck going to class. I decided I was going to skip this class and head to my picnic table for a smoke. Then I’d catch up with Gareth. I needed to know what was going on between them. I know I wasn't the only one captivated by not just her beauty but her humor and her charm as well. I lit a cigarette and took a long drag. Letting it fill my lungs then exhale all the smoke.
Maybe ‘m getting ahead of myself? What if she already has a boyfriend? Or what if she doesn't even like guys? I mean Buckley swings that way so it is possible. We just became friends, is it selfish of me to already want something more, to be more to her?
All my life in Hawkins, there wasn't anyone quite like Peaches.
As if on cue, the bell rang just as I stomped out my cigarette. Time to have a chat with Gareth.
~3rd Person~
When Eddie found Gareth, he casually put his arm around his best friend. Gareth could see the mischief in his eyes. “What did I do?”
“Heard you say you were meeting Peaches after school? What's that about?” Eddie tried not to sound desperate, but it may have come out as jealousy instead.
Gareth knew immediately then that his best friend had the hots for her. I mean could he blame him? It didn't stop him from having a bit of fun with Eddie. He didn't need to know that Gareth was secretly trying to help him in the long run. “Yeah man, she asked me if I wanted to share a joint with her.”
He could practically see the gears moving inside Eddie’s head. Trying not to show his agitation.
“You rarely smoke.” Eddie couldn't wrap his head around it. And he thought Peaches couldn't get any better. A grunge stoner goddess roamed these halls.
Of all people though, why’d you have to ask Gareth? His green monster was starting to get the better of him.
“Who am I to turn down such an offer? Besides, gives me the chance to get to know her more.”
Eddie wanted to punch the smirk off his face but contained himself. He had to remind himself that it was fair game. It didn't mean he liked the idea.
“Trying to get with our Peaches, Gare?”
“We’re just friends, Eds.” Just then the bell rang signaling the next class. “Look, I got to go. We’ll talk later man.”
Gareth walked away, leaving Eddie alone in the hallway.
Eddie’s mind was too preoccupied; he barely paid attention for the rest of the day. Well, even less than he usually did.
~Lena~
I couldn't be more happy than to hear the last bell ring. The day was finally over. My brain was fried and not in the way I wanted yet.
I quickly gathered my things and headed to my locker. I didn't want Gareth to have to wait long for me. As I started putting books into my locker, I thought about the questions I wanted to ask him that I didn't get to during lunch. Nothing super personal, just general things about the boys.
Once my locker was locked, I headed towards the doors. Pushing them open I see Gareth leaning against the building. “Sorry if I took too long.”
He turned his head and smiled, “It’s all good Peaches.”
I return the smile and walk towards my car, he pushes off the wall and follows.
“Do you have a spot or…?” I asked as I opened my door and tossed my bag in the back seat.
”Uh…most of the time it’s the back of Eddie’s van.” Gareth rubs the back of his neck, nervously laughing while we get into my car.
I turn my key and it roars to life. Eddie. I hadn’t even thought to ask him. Now I feel like an idiot and rude.
”Oh. Well now I feel bad. Had I known I would’ve asked him if he wanted to join too.”
”Don’t worry Peach. There’s always next time.”
I started reversing out of the spot I was in, “You’re right. We could go to my house if that’s cool with you? My parents let me smoke on the roof.”
”That’s badass! Mine won't even let me in the garage.”
I laughed as I pulled out of the parking lot, heading towards my house. “Oh, I have some tapes in my glove compartment if you don’t want to listen to Queen.”
In the corner of my eye I saw him reach and search through what I had. Though I had a feeling I knew what he’d pick.
“You listen to Black Sabbath?”
I knew he’d be shocked. One, it was considered “Devil music” and two, sometimes I didn’t look like the kind of girl to like that sort of music. But I didn’t care and I told him what I told everyone.
“Music is music Gareth. I like what I like.”
”I knew I made the right decision becoming friends with you Peaches.”
I looked over at him and gave him a smile while at a red light. He put in the tape and we jammed out for the rest of the ride.
When I parked in front of my house, I noticed that neither of my parents were home yet. Which was fine, I wasn’t uncommon since they both had jobs. Before I got out of my car, I reached into the glove compartment to retrieve my last joint and placed it in my pocket.
I unlocked my front door and we entered. “Welcome to Casa de Peaches. Make yourself a home.” I relocked the door then tossed my keys on the coffee table and my bag on the couch. “Before we head to the roof, we should probably grab some drinks and snacks. I don’t know about you but I get major munchies.”
I gestured for him to follow me into the kitchen. I opened the fridge and grabbed a drink. “You can have whatever you want.” I said leaving it open for him to choose. We each grabbed a few snacks from the cabinet as well then he followed me to my room.
”You got a nice place Peaches.” I hear Gareth say as we reach the top of the stairs.
”It’s not so bad. I’m still getting used to it.”
As soon as I opened my door, I was mortified. “Fuck!”
I had forgotten that I had shit everywhere. Clothes, shoes, books, tapes and records. My room looked like a raid happened while I was at school. I could hear Gareth chuckle from behind me. “I am so sorry it’s so messy. I usually have it fairly clean when friends are over.” He probably thinks I’m gross because girls are supposed to be cleaner than boys.
”It reminds me of my room, but slightly girly.” He laughed. “Don’t worry. I don’t think less of you.”
Well that’s a relief.
I place my snacks on my small side table next to the window. While Gareth did the same, I quickly started cleaning up some of the disaster. He noticed. “Seriously Peaches, it's fine.”
He ended up grabbing my shoulders to stop me from moving around.
”Okay. Okay.” I took a deep sigh then fished out the joint from my pocket. I couldn’t stop the smirk that was forming.

Part 2 Part 3
~Lena~
Moving to Hawkins wasn't as bad as I had originally thought. Sure it sucks that I had to leave, but knowing I was only about 3 hours away from my friends made me feel better about it.
Starting my senior year in a new high school on the other hand… blows.
Well, it would have if I cared about fitting in. Back home no one judged. But here? Oh boy did they. I had to keep some of my hobbies on the down low, for now at least. Apparently, Dungeons and Dragons was considered “Devil worshipping”. So much for me trying to find people to teach me how to play. Or so I thought. Barely one week in Hawkins High is all it took for me to make a friend. Or a few.
~English class~
I was sitting in the back because I couldn't pay attention today. I was a passing student so I wasn't worried.
As I tuned out the teacher, I started doodling on what should've been my notes. The only thing on my mind was smoking my last joint that was tucked away in my car. I was unconsciously drawing clouds around the leaf I had made on my paper.
“Hey, New girl.” I heard whispers next to me. Turning my head to see a boy wearing a shirt with the words “Hellfire Club”. Maybe it was a new band?
“Do you partake or just like drawing?”
This felt like a trick question. Was he trying to get me caught or being friendly? I've learned quickly not to trust anyone yet. The jocks and the cheerleaders are the royalty in the ranks. Any lower on the food chain and you're a target no matter what.
He felt my hesitation to the question so he continued, “I only ask because if you need “flower”- he points to my picture- I know a guy.”
That sounds even more suspicious! I lean in slightly whispering, “You do realize how that sounds like a total set up right? Why should I trust you?”
The boy puts his hands up in defense.“That's fair. But wouldn't me asking you just be me outing myself? Why would I rat both of us out?”
“Touche.”
“I’m Gareth by the way.”
“Lena. And hypothetically if I were to say I had “flower”. Would you partake?”
“Uh Duh.” We both laughed silently.
“You seem pretty cool Gareth.” I could tell that took him by surprise but he tried to cover it up.
“Uh, thanks. So do you.” he paused for a second “Would you wanna come sit with me and my friends during lunch? I can't guarantee that you'll think they'll be as cool as me but…” I giggled.
“I’d love to. And trust me if they're like you I'll like them way better than the “royalty”.”
With that said the bell had rung, dismissing everyone for lunch. I put my notebook in my bag seeing Gareth standing in the corner of my eye. Like he's waiting for me. How sweet.
“I have to put some stuff in my locker. You can go ahead and I'll find you.” I smiled at him. He nodded his head but looked unsure. Like he thought I was lying about sitting with them. Nonetheless, he walks out of the room towards the lunch room while I head to my locker.
~3rd Person~
As Gareth walked to the lunch room, he thought about Lena. Was she being serious about sitting with them? Regardless he would have to mention her to his friends. Even if she didn't sit with them she was one of the good ones.
As he walks through the doors, a roar of multiple conversations bounces off the walls. He grabs his lunch and then heads to his table with his dungeon master and best friend seated at the head of the table.
The kiddies arrived just as he sat down. Now was his chance.
“Hey guys, I invited the new girl to sit with us.”
Everyone at the table paused as if processing what Gareth had said. Then a chorus of laughs erupted from the group. “I’m serious!”
Eddie wipes a fake tear from his eye. “Good one Gare.”
“Yeah like a girl is gonna sit with us.”Jeff rolls his eyes.
“You're delusional man!”
With Gareth trying to defend himself and the group in denial, they had not noticed Lena approaching their table.
~Lena~
I rushed to my locker to dump whatever I didn't need for my next classes. Then into the bathroom to make sure I didn't look crazy. I wanted to make a good first impression on Gareth's friends. It’d be nice to have real people to hang out with who are not snobby rich fakers.
When I got to the cafeteria I scanned the room to find Gareth while going through the line to just get some fruit. Surprised that they had peaches I grabbed two then spotted Gareth after I paid.
As I was heading to the table, a blonde cheerleader I met earlier stopped me. I think her name was Chrissy.
“Hey, would you like to sit with me and the girls?” she smiled sweetly.
“Oh thanks but I've got a seat already.” offering her a smile back. I didn't want to hurt her feelings because she seemed like the only genuine popular girl I'd met.
“Oh, that's okay! Maybe next time.” she then walked away to her table.
I started walking again and as I approached the table it seemed like they were arguing about something. Before you could catch what was going on they all fell quiet when you stood in front of their table. Looking at the boy standing at the opposite side of the table.
~3rd Person~
Eddie was not buying it for one second as soon as the sentence left Gareth's mouth. A new girl sitting with them? The freaks of Hawkins High? Yeah right. But alas Eddie believed that Gareth was committed to the bit til he had enough. He stood from his chair and slammed his hands on the table.
“For fucks sake! Why would she…”
He never finished his sentence. Once he saw her walking and stop right in front of his table he was speechless. No one ever makes Eddie Munson speechless.
The boys turned to see why he shut up and were equally astonished, besides Gareth of course. He wore a smug smile, crossing his arms and leaning back into his chair.
“Uh hi. Gareth said I could sit with you guys.”
Silence from the whole table. They just couldn't believe that Gareth was telling the truth. With no response, she tried again.
~Lena~
“Is that okay?” I asked as I looked at the boy directly across from me. He seemed like the leader of the pack so I awaited his response. But nothing. They all just stared at me like they had never seen a girl before. I don't know if I should be flattered or concerned. Before I could feel embarrassed and think this was a bad idea, Gareth spoke up.
“Here, you can sit next to me.” He scooted the chair next to him out for me to sit.
I sat down hesitantly, eyeing everyone as they still didn't speak. Lingering a little longer on the curly long-haired boy. He was cute no doubt. I toss that thought immediately away. Friends Lena. You're making friends. It was too soon to be having a crush on someone.
“Don't mind them. They didn't believe me when I said you were sitting with us.”
Gareth went around the table, introducing everyone to me. Next to him was Jeff. Across from me was Mike, and to his right was Dustin and Doug. Lastly, at the head of the table was Eddie. “Guys, this is Lena.”
I gave them all a smile and waved. Also noticed that they all wore the same shirt. I made a mental note to ask about it.
Dustin seemed to be the first of the group to come to his senses. “So, where are you from?”
“Harrison. It's about a half hour outside of Cincinnati.”
“What made you come to Hawkins?” Mike asked with a confused face.
“Uh, well my dad overlooks construction jobs. The company he works for has a new location. So he decided to move closer since he’ll be running that place.”
Everyone seemed to become more comfortable as I answered their questions. Seemingly deciding that I wasn't a threat. As I talked I subconsciously worked on opening my peach. It was what I always did to them. Slightly crack open the top, and run my finger all the way around. Now and then lick my finger to stop the juice from running down my hand then twist until it splits in half. Once opened I took a bite and noticed they all were staring again.
“What?” I said wiping the corner of my mouth.
“How in the hell did you just do that?” Jeff asked.
I couldn't help but giggle. “It’s my party trick.” I took another bite.
~3rd Person~
“Is that okay?”
The way she looked at Eddie stirred something inside of him. Genuinely asking for permission. His permission to sit with them. He was so dumbfounded to speak. Just taking her in. From her pretty brown eyes to the Queen t-shirt and jeans she wore that hugged her curves in all the right places to her ring-adorned hands holding peaches. She looked godsent. Well, at least that's what Eddie was thinking. He got a weird feeling as he saw you take the seat next to Gareth. Jealousy? What? No way he was already crushing on the new girl?! He barely even spoke a word to her, just listened to her answer any questions the guys had.
He watched her as she absentmindedly moved her fingers through the peach. His mind started creating naughty thoughts he couldn't shake away. The way she licked her fingers, completely oblivious to what she was doing to him. The juice of the peach slipped out the corner of her mouth as she took a bite. All he wanted to do was lick it off her. Oh, how he was already done for.
Jeff was the first to express his bewilderedness. Man, hearing her giggle? Eddie wanted to bottle it up and keep it forever.
“It’s how I've always eaten peaches. They're my favorite,” she says like it is the most obvious answer in the world. Before anyone could ask about the side with the pit, she does the same trick to split it again in half and then pop the clean pit out. She holds out a slice offering it up to anyone. Before Eddie could act, Dustin took the offering.
“Well in that case should we be calling you Peaches then?” Gareth joked.
She pondered the thought and then shrugged with a smile. “I wouldn't mind that.” Right at that moment, Hellfire as a collective decided that from now on they would only call her Peaches.

~“Hey guys, I invited the new girl to sit with us.”
~“You're delusional man!”
~ Once he saw her walking and stop right in front of his table he was speechless. No one ever makes Eddie Munson speechless.
A Saturday where you don't have to be anywhere, have no plans other than spending time with your boyfriend Eddie Munson. You just laying on his bed after a fuck session. Naked with wild hair. Giving Eddie a kiss before rolling over to retrieve the book you had discarded the night before. Eddie slaps your ass before getting up to put on his boxers, plays one of his tapes, then grabs what he needs to roll a joint. Sitting in the chair close to you, in the corner of your eye you see him bobbing his head to the music while simultaneously rolling two joints and asking about your book.
Once he is finished and you know that because he's stopped humming and just watching you, you look up from your book and stare right back at him. The smile on his face kills you every time you see it, so contagious. "Here babe", he offers you the joint first but when you reach out to grab it he pulls back, you look at him confused. "open"
You open your mouth slightly, just enough for Eddie to place the practically perfect joint between your lips. Once secure, he grabs his lighter and sparks it for you. And what a sight you are to him, his wet dream come to life. The person he loves lying naked in his bed with a book, a joint, and his music in the background. Best Saturday Ever.
You take a few hits and exhale the smoke, offering the joint back to him with a smile. He happily takes his hits as well, blowing the smoke away from you as you begin to read again. but he can't help himself...
Eddie places his hand under your chin to pry your eyes from your book and leans forward, kissing you like he doesn't need air.
She pleaded to the Universe. Looking up at the sky with bated breath and hands clenched together as if in prayer. Eyes glossy with tears threatening to spill. But never falling. Not falling apart today.
With a heavy sigh, her head now hung low in defeat. Knowing it is futile to ask the Universe for such demands. For it does not bend to the whim of mere humans. She stands with a heavy heart, dusting off the grass that has stuck to her thighs.
The Universe hears pleads shouts wants demands desires from anyone and everyone. Rarely does It answer. However hearing Her in the swarm of others, She does not ask for wealth or fame like most. Universe has known Her all her life. Seen every success. Every failure. Seen every struggle. Every breakdown. Every heartbreak. Has watched Her push away emotion to push forward.
Universe doesn’t pity. But this wasn’t pity no. It was admiration and Universe likes to reward those who have persevered, who deserve it.
As She walks home, shaking her head laughing as herself. “How foolish of me to think the almighty Universe would answer me. I am not worthy of It.”
Oh how wrong She was.
How unworthy She thought she was when Universe thought Her and one of Its favorites. Universe wanted to show her that they were listening, that they always have been. Thought It knew it could never truly fulfill her request, Universe wanted to bring some solace to her. A silent promise to be patient for only a little longer. A gift to show It was listening.
She rounds the corner of the street. An ice cream vendor happily serving cold treats to those looking for relief from the summer heat. A small boy awaits eagerly for his treat. “$3 kid” the boy smile gone as he looks down at his two dollars.
She reaches into her pocket “here” passing the vendor a single dollar. The little boy beamed with gratuity, hugging and thanking before retrieving his icy treat.
With a smile, ready to continue her journey home. The vendor stops her, holding out a cold treat for her to take. Smile growing bigger She thanks the vendor, wondering how did they know this one was her favorite?

Part 1 Part 2 Part 3a Part 3b Final Bonus
To say you were happy was an understatement, elated was a better word to use for how you were feeling. Cloud nine if you will. You were going to have your very first date with a boy you couldn't stop thinking about. Eddie Kaspbrak. You had gotten home just before your parents would start to worry. With the brightest smile on your face as you open the front door, greeting them as they sat on the couch watching a movie.
“Hey sweetie, did you have a good time today?”, your mother asked.
“The best!”
Your father looks at you, “Uh oh, I know that look.”
At that, your mother looks at you as well, “Oh my, I think you’re right
honey.”
You looked at them confused, “What are you guys talking about? What look?”
“The shine in your eyes. It’s the same look I had when your father
asked me on a date.”
“Wha- I don’t- no one-”, you couldn't form a single thought let alone a
sentence. It caused you to nervous laugh. Rubbing the back of your
neck you caved, “Okay yes. A boy I like asked me on a date. There, happy?”
The movie playing in the background is now forgotten, this was more
important. You never expressed that you even had a crush on anyone,
and now they are hearing that their daughter is going to go on a date.
This was exciting and terrifying news for any parent.
“Was it one of the boys you met today?”, your mother asks with a
smile. She remembers how she felt in this almost position when she was your age. The butterflies that swarmed in her stomach, the smile that couldn't leave her face, the look in her eyes that never truly left to
this day.
You could tell that your parents are still so much in love with each
other. Since they were about your age, childhood sweethearts. You had always hoped you could have at least a fraction of what they have. And now, it looks like you might.
Blush crept up on your cheeks as you smiled back, nodding your head.
“His name is Eddie Kaspbrak.”
“Sonia’s boy?”, your father questions. “It's a miracle she even lets him
leave that house. That woman is a nutcase, always has been.”
“Anyways, where are you two going?”, your mother slightly changing the subject.
You thought for a second, “Actually uh we didn't say, we kind of
forgot.”
Just as you finished speaking the house phone rang. You all looked at
each other; who would be calling at this time?
Your father was the first to move, getting up from the couch and
answered the phone.
“Hello, Y/L residence.”
It was silent for a moment, you and your mother waiting to find out
who is calling. Your father then looks at you, offering the phone. “It’s
for you.”
Blush makes an appearance yet again, now figuring out the caller. You
reach for the phone and let out an unsure, “Eddie?”
You hear a nervous laugh on the other end, “How did you know it was me?”
The smile on your face not leaving as your parents walk toward you and kiss your head as a sign of goodnight. “Lucky guess.”
“Don't stay up too late honey”, your mother whispers to you then they both walk to their bedroom; leaving the tv on as the only source of light.
“Right, well you're probably wondering why I'm calling you considering we just saw each other and spend like the whole day together. Not like together together, you know with the guys and Beverly. Not that I wouldn't want to spend the whole day with just you because I do. Which is why I asked you out, well technically didn't you ask me? Not that it matters.- ”
“Eddie Eddie Eddie, slow down. Breath.”, as much as hearing him ramble makes your heart flutter, you had to stop him before he combusts.
You hear a deep inhale and exhale, “I'm sorry. When I heard your dad's voice answer I panicked.”
“Hey, it's okay. Not that I don't want to talk to you but why are you
calling?”
“Oh right! Uh well after you left I realized that we didn't say when or
where we should have our uh date.”
Oh my god, he's so shy, it’s so cute!! Butterflies erupt in your stomach.
“How about tomorrow?”, you hope you didn't sound too eager. The last thing you want is to scare him away but something tells you that won't happen so easily.
“We could go to the arcade? Just us, then get ice cream afterward?”,
Eddie sounds just as hopeful.
“Perfect.”
Eddie wishes he could see the smile he knows is on your face because
it's on his as well. Sometimes he still thinks this is all an elaborate
dream. Afraid he’ll wake up and none of it was real. Oh, it would
absolutely crush him if it wasn’t. The number of times he had pinched
himself on the way home just to prove he wasn't dreaming. Because to
him, you were a dream. Something just out of his reach. But not this
time. Even coming home, not even his paranoid mother could bring his mood down. Eddie kept replaying it again and again in his head like a movie.
He kissed you. Well, technically you had kissed him but that's beside the point. There was a kiss and there was a confirmation of a date. He couldn't fuck this up, the guys and Beverly would never let it down.
Especially Richie. Anyone would kill to be in his position. Yet you chose him. Him.
Edward Kaspbrak.
Let me know if you would like to be on the Masterlist or just this fandom
For all my residential thick beauties (myself included)
We all think about how we would look wearing Eddie’s hellfire shirt right? JUST HIS SHIRT. Doing normal things around the house but still teasing him. Right? Right. Like you reaching for something on the top shelf showing off more of your “portable pillows” as he would call your thighs because he loves resting his head on them. Eddie going almost feral knowing your only wearing undies. Wanting nothing more than to be sophisticated by them.
HOWEVER
How about Steve when you wear one of his sweaters? Like you wake up and just see one of them and throw that bitch on without thinking. Casually brushing your teeth with the door open and he just so happens walk pass stopping as your bend over spitting out toothpaste. Giving him a sneak peak of your ass and him noticing. “Is uh is that my sweater?” Giving him a wink as you look at him through the mirror. Imagine the look on his face when you enter the kitchen messy hair tired eyes still your luscious thighs like it’s nothing! Walking pass him to get some coffee and he just watched you pour some into a mug. Foaming at the mouth he has half a mind to take you on the counter right then and there. Fuck whatever plans that day held.
No? Just me thinking about this all the fucking time for either one of them or both?

I want to thank all the lovely reader who gave me a chance and followed me in this world. Now that it is finish I want to remind you that my favourite character is Arya and that I love Daenerys, yeah I know it doesn’t feel like it reading me, but I like to play with characters.
I hope the end is satisfactory, it is my first ending a long story.
Once again, thank you all for your support, it meant the world to me. ❤️
(Ps: the crown of the reader is a french one, it’s the Angoulème Emerald Tiara, it was the tiara of the Duchesse of Angoulème Marie-Thérèse Charlotte de France, the first daughter of Louis XVI and Marie Antoinette. )
You were starting to rue your decision of not allowing any handmaid in the war camp. It was hard for you to clean yourself after the Maester had treated your injuries. He applied a balm on your forehead cut after he had stitched it. You would bear a scar, serving as a reminder of how easily you could be slain.
