We were doing auditions at the theater this morning. Big turnout for locals with at least 30 people sitting around as we’re getting started.
When this elderly woman pulls up, parks in the handicap spaces out front, and was walking in. First I assumed she’s headed to the Box Office, but she comes in and stands directly in front of my check-in table. So I asked if she was there to audition?
She had a very angry expression and snapped that she was here for the show. I said “I’m sorry ma’am. We don’t have a matinee today.”
She immediately gets super testy with me (honestly looked like she was spoiling for a fight as soon as she walked in and saw the people sitting around) and says “Well, this is when They sold me the ticket for.”
So I’m trying to be all nice and tell her to walk with me over to the Box Office. And as we go, I say there must’ve been a mixup because we don’t do Saturday matinees. She stops and says “I thought it was Sunday.” And just turns around and walks out without another word.
The actors standing closest to me (who I know well) just looked at me and went “What the hell was that?”
Short circuited her Karening, I guess
