BWW Review: VICTORIA'S KNICKERS, Soho Theatre

The second offering in this year's National Youth Theatre REP Season is just as brilliant as the earlier reviewed Consensual. In Victoria's Knickers, Josh Azouz and Ned Bennett - who previously collaborated together on Buggy Baby - have combined brains to make another bonkers piece of theatre, this time set around the love between Queen Victoria and an ordinary, yet extraordinary boy.

I remember Jenna Coleman posted on Instagram that she went to see this musical "Victoria's Knickers" and saw this pop up today about it and really wish I could see this as it sounds great. :) It's set when Victoria first becomes queen and she meets Boy Jones, but he's been aged up to be about 17/18 and they fall in love even though they realize they can't be together (so a bit like a Vicbourne AU fic where they're the same age).  Sounds like the music is a bit like "Hamilton" with a mix of singing and rapping and this reviewer and Jenna liked it.
