I can't believe I'm making a post about fires again. And not because this isn't what my blog is for, I honestly don't give a fuck about that and I'd be disgusted of myself if I did.
I can't believe we're at it again.
First Russia, now Amazonia.
Once again, my plea is the same: spread the news, spread the indignation for what is happening.
The Amazon Rainforest was burning and Bolsonaro was fucking laughing at that.
Some people believe these posts don't make the difference and join in the laugher.
Let me tell you that you're wrong.
Maybe individually we don't do much, but spreading indignation is a sign for Governments and Companies that if they want to retain their votes or their customers, they have to pay attention to this. They have to distance themselves from what is going on in Brazil, from what Bolsonaro is criminally doing.
So use this platform for something good and spread the indignation.
This doesn't want to be one of those posts mocking people complaining about the fight between Marvel and Sony while there are much more pressing matters. Of course there are, but an average intelligent person can consider both at the same time. The same thing could be said of all other posts, of people posting kittens or aesthetics, but I don't see people so pissed when Tumblr is picked to share leisure contents. Attacking other people will only be counterproductive, because those people will consider those fighting for the Amazon Rainforest as some extremist activists, and will wrongly grow disaffectionate with this extremely urgent issue. I know that this is an issue involving mankind as a whole, but some people need to be educated on this front, and insulting them certainly isn't a good way to do it.
So please, spread what is going on in Brazil, but don't do it by insulting other people. Such a behaviour only backfires, and we need all the help we can get
And please, it's not important to like these posts: IT'S IMPORTANT TO REBLOG THEM
