if you have never made a single effort of activism in your life — towards any cause — outside of the internet i really do question your motivations. i don’t mean protests because i think a lot of the time a protest doesn’t do a lot for the cause, but have you ever actually donated to something meaningful? given to a shelter? seriously boycotted something for more than a month at once? or does your activism end with just reposting things and hoping for the best? i really do question whether you’re willing to actually make changes for your cause or whether you want to just look like you’re doing something meaningful.
