Carabinum: a romantic or sexual attraction to carabiners, under the objectum umbrella, coined by myself: donutboxers

boydyke: a gender identity common among butch lesbians, a combination of the word "boy" and "dyke". associated with lesboys, trans masculine lesbians, trans men, sapphic identifying non men, bigender, genderfluid, or multigender people.

i made my own boydyke flag!

the one that already existed was made by a mogai account and had a definition for the term that i didnt like/agree with, so im making one for myself and other boydykes who like it!

flag stripe meanings:

euphoria: the joy and peace we feel when using the term "boydyke", and how it happily encompasses our gender and experience womanhood: for whatever connection or disconnection we feel from womanhood, how we redefine that, and reclaim it lesbianism: loving women and non binary people, excluding men from our lives and being content in loving the lesbian community masculinity: why we use the word "boydyke", enjoying other masculine terms or forms of presentation, defining masculinity for what it means to us as dykes

to me, being a boydyke is about rejecting cisnormative ideals of lesbianism as well as the boundaries set for us by other trans people. it does NOT mean we are men, or on the cusp of being men. it just means we feel comfortable using the word boy and dyke in the same space <3
