Lucius & co at Helsreach, BOYL 2017. It was good fun but we only had time to hunt one worm. I would have liked to engage in other activities including but not limited to:-

Ambushing and selling the Squat Flasher for meat, on the principle that he would not be missed.

Finding out if those tentacled guys were sentient and/or edible.

Infecting the water supply with amoebic dysentery for the glory of Nurgle.

Placing the squad on leave, letting them spread out individually throughout the town, drinking, getting into fights, and leaving diseased fingerprints on everything.

Progress so far towards BOYL2017:- two war Eagles, Thirty Dark Elf Coldone Knights, Two Coldone Wizards & two Coldone Chariots most are C series Citadel with solid bases so vintage stuff; hope to have at least the same number of knights by the time July comes around, ready for the BFG

Exiles on Jabberwock Hunt, BOYL 2017

In theory this event was to be an epic battle between half a dozen warbands and a terrifyingly mutated jabberwock, but in practice it was half a dozen bands of psychopaths and drunks brawling with one another before getting eaten by the jabberwock.

Exiles in the Enchanted Forest, BOYL 2017

Not so much preparation for BOYL, as finally getting off my backside and daubing some paint on some goblins - these have sat in a box for at least fifteen years, if, not more! Grom's Goblin Guard 1st edition, I'm painting them in three batches of fourteen, this will given me a second regiment of forty and two spares to bring my first regiment up to full strength (surprising how often these little fellas tend to go missing in action!). Here's a progression of pictures of the second batch from start to almost finished - will wait for the Chestnut ink to dry before completing the teeth & eyes tomorrow morning. Started these this morning at about seven, taking anywhere between five to thirty minutes for each application of colour, I tend to go off and do other stuff between coats (washing, shopping cooking etc.) so that the other half doesn't complain I'm not doing anything useful!   Enjoy
