Trick 2hollis x spoiled brat female reader
An: I just can't stop writing shit.... Reader isn't very bratty in the intro because she is just meeting hollis but TRUST she's gonna run him ragged in a second. I hope y'all like 😝
The silence in your apartment started to feel too loud, pressing in on you from every corner, so you threw on a dress, did your makeup, and walked out the door without a real destination in mind.
You end up outside a small jazz bar tucked between two older brick buildings downtown. Warm light spills out from the windows onto the sidewalk, and the faint sound of a saxophone drifts through the door.
The place looks like it’s been there for decades.
The first thing that hits you is the music.
Soft jazz fills the room, smooth and slow, weaving through quiet conversations and the clinking of glasses. The lighting is dim and golden, casting warm shadows across dark wooden walls. Vintage records hang in frames beside black-and-white photographs.
For a moment, it feels like you’ve stepped into a different time.
A woman stands on the small stage singing into an old chrome microphone while the band behind her plays softly. Her voice glides through the room, and you can feel it belongs there.
The whole place feels warm.
You make your way toward the bar and slide onto one of the red leather barstools.
“A lemon drop martini, please,” you say to the bartender.
It’s the only drink you know how to confidently order.
While you wait, you turn slightly toward the stage, letting the music pull you in.
You feel it before you see it.
Your eyes wander across the room until they land on him.
A blonde stranger was sitting across the bar.
He’s already looking at you.
His eyes move slowly over you like he’s trying to memorize you.
When your eyes meet, he doesn’t look away. Instead, a slow smile spreads across his face like he had been waiting for you to notice him.
You smile back before you can stop yourself.
He’s sitting with a group of friends, all of them handsome in that effortless way but still holding on to their quirks and charms. Even surrounded by them, he stands out.
Maybe it’s the way he’s leaning back in his chair, relaxed but observant.
or his eyes staying locked on you.
It’s intense enough that you break the gaze first.
You turn back to the bar just as the bartender slides your drink toward you.
You smile and wrap your fingers around the chilled glass.
The first sip hits your tongue, and you relax instantly.
The sugar rim rubs against your lip.
You sip slowly, letting the atmosphere settle around you. The music, the lighting, the quiet hum of conversation, it's exactly what you needed tonight.
The bartender introduces himself as Eddy while wiping down the counter.
He tells you he’s allergic to lemons and pretty girls, so he’ll have to be careful around you.
It’s an easy conversation, light and harmless.
But the whole time, you can still feel those eyes.
Eddy walks away to help another customer, and the moment he does, you feel someone step up behind you.
Close enough that you notice the warmth of it.
You glance over your shoulder.
The blonde stranger from across the bar.
“Anybody sitting here?” he asks, nodding toward the empty stool beside you.
He pulls the stool out and sits beside you.
Up close, he’s even more stunning. Tall, broad shoulders, dressed almost completely in black. Heavy industrial boots rest against the bar’s foot rail, and the dim lighting gets caught in his faint gold-toned hair.
But what you notice most is the way he looks at you.
You take another sip of your drink, pretending his attention doesn’t affect you as much as it does.
“So…” he says after a moment. “Do you like jazz?”
He laughs, rubbing the back of his neck.
“Alright, alright. Not my finest introduction.”
He turns slightly toward you and extends his hand.
He studies your face for another second before saying quietly,
“No. Trust me. The pleasure is all mine.”
He lifts your hand and presses his lips softly against your knuckles.
“So,” you say, pulling your hand back slowly, “what brought you over here, Hollis?”
Your lips twitch upwards.
“I figured. You like to stare, don’t you?”
“Only at what catches my eye.”
“And what about me caught your eye?”
A smirk forms on his lips.
“I saw you the second you walked in.”
His voice lowers slightly.
“Your dress fits you perfectly. The way you walk, it’s not really walking.”
He leans a little closer.
“It’s more like a strut. You captivate the room. Everyone is staring at you.”
Your heartbeat picks up slightly.
“You’re confident,” he continues. “Friendly too.”
His eyes narrow playfully.
“I don’t know if I like that, though.”
“If I weren’t friendly, how would you have talked to me?”
“ Trust me baby, I can be persuasive.”
The way he says it makes your stomach twist again.
“y/n,” he says, watching you carefully, “what does a girl like you do for work?”
“Some shitty office job. But it pays.”
His voice drops, more serious now.
“Pretty girls like you shouldn’t have to work.”
You sip your drink slowly.
“Yeah? And what do you suggest instead?”
“You need someone to take care of you.”
His hand lifts and gently tucks a strand of hair behind your ear.
“Let me do that.” He slightly grabs your chin
And you stare at him like he’s got you right where he wants you.
“You walk up to every pretty girl and offer to fund her lifestyle?”
He shakes his head slowly.
He chuckles, “No, doing this once is ridiculous enough.”
“Because you’re different and I like it. Shit, I guess I just like you. ”
“What do you do for work?” you ask.
You swirl the drink in your glass before looking at him again.
“So what exactly would I have to do?”
His smile returns slowly.
His eyes trace your face again.
He leans a little closer.
