BPD Flag:

the colors stand for good traits of bpd!!

red: passion, excitement, and determination

yellow: creativity

turquoise: compassion

blue: loyalty

purple: creativity

lilac: bravery

indigo: insightfulness

BPD Symbol:

represents the experience of having bpd!

open ended circle: an interrupted story that continues on despite everything and the individuality of everyone's unique experience with bpd but the unity and solidarity that unites us

line with arrows: constantly moving forward, whether that's improving, coping, or helping others

rounded square: the perseverance and strength of those with bpd and gaining confidence that may have been lost due to trauma, complications or symptoms

Since a couple of anons asked, here’s the final design for my BPD flag!

I like the look of the first one more, but I think the indigo looks sadder than cyan, so that’s why I’m uploading both. I also added a gray stripe to the final version, but included the original in case someone doesn’t like it.

The black and white stripes represent a borderline’s black and white thinking. The red, yellow, and blue stripes represent our intense emotions and how we can go from happy, to sad, to angry, within under an hour. The grey stripe represents how we frequently feel numb and dysphoric, as well as the shades-of-grey thinking we generally strive towards having.

Feel free to use for edits and stuff if you want! Okay for anyone to use, just please don’t use this flag to glorify BPD as if it’s a fun, quirky thing to have (headcanons are fine, just don’t be weird about it, thanks). Also obviously don’t use it to demonize us as manipulative monsters.
