I asked you guys what you thought I should do in regards to duos from the same media being in the bracket, and while the actual poll itself was fairly close, a lot of you suggested I hold preliminary rounds to decide, so that's what we're doing!
Preliminary rounds will be between Sonic the Hedgehog with either Knuckles the Echidna or Shadow the Hedgehog, and between Red and Blue and Team Rocket! I will be posting them at 5PM EST/10PM BST today, so don't miss out!
After much deliberation, I’ve decided that I will not be hosting a joke bracket. This tournament has taken far too much energy out of me, and with my academic quarter coming to an end and finals taking up most of my time, it’s just not worth it to me to host another bracket.
I will provide you guys with a link to a summarized spreadsheet with all the nominations here, just so that you can at least see what was the fate of your blorbos. Characters highlighted in blue made it onto the main bracket, characters highlighted in teal were eliminated in prelims, and characters highlighted in red were supposed to make it onto the joke bracket.

The Revival Round will feature the 20 most mourned losers from Rounds 1 and 2 in two separate ten-way matchups! 10 losers from the right side will go against each other while 10 losers from the left side do the same. Only 1 winner from each of these polls will proceed, so choose wisely! Voting for the Revival Round will begin Thursday, March 9th at 12PM EST/5PM BST!
