Auch Doc Ellis weg bei Bobby Blotzer's Ratt
In weniger als drei Wochen hat sich also eine Band rundum erneuert. So zumindest sieht es bei Bobby Blotzer’s Version von Ratt aus. Da bleibt also eigentlich wirklich nur noch der Schlagzeuger am Stuhl kleben, und den sieht man am wenigsten. Nachdem Nicholas “Blaze” Baum und Robbie Crane die Band verlassen haben, ist nun auch der zweite Gitarrist Doc Ellis abgesprungen. Und hier Doc’s Facebook Eintrag zur Geschichte;
“Ok. You know the rules. Don’t care?… Keep scrolling…. But for You….. Here is the deal. I gave my notice aug 1…. Said I would fill out the month and then hang up my Gun. And just ride……. You’ll hear no Slander and Bitching from me. All I’ll say is. I thank Todd Kerns for Filling in on my last shows. My last being the 18 of aug. Josh. Love you. Blaze. Love you Robbie and Craig. Thank you for letting me see what true friendship was again. I had forgot. I really enjoyed watching you two just be you. “Nutz” completely enjoyed our time. And certainly there is no problem with a feast on our time. Bob. Thanks for the opportunity to play the songs for the people that wanted to hear it… Something I will never forget. I wish you all the best. To the folks Who decided to follow me in my time out with B.B. I thank you. Gabba Gabba Hey. And to the folks who have continued to follow me.. I Love You. And I’m gonna try to show it more. Gabba Gabba Hey HEY ROCK AND ROLL!!!. If ya need me? I’ll be around. Michael “Doc” Ellis.”
Bobby Blotzer muss aber ein echt glückliches Händchen haben, dies hab ich ja schon vor ein paar Tagen, festgestellt. Den nun stellt er gleich vier neue Bandmitglieder vor, und das auch gleich zur laufenden Tour in Amerika. So werden neu in der Band sein; Mitch Perry nd Stacey Blades an der 6-Saiter, Brad Lang sorgt am Tieftöner für Groove und Joshua Alan ist am Mikro. Bobby sagt dazu;
“Hey Rattlers: Just a quick note. Regarding our Ratt tour. We have some leaving, and new great musicians coming on board . Stacey Blades my long time friend just played with us on two huge festivals over last weekend and did a fabulous job.. Also sitting in thru next week’s shows on Bass is Todd Kerns . He is such a great talent , Slash is lucky. Starting Sept 3rd & 4th Onward will be the great Mitch Perry on lead guitar, Stacey Blades Rhythm And leads, and Brad Lang on bass, along with the awesome Joshua Alan still fronting of course, and yours truly Chopping wood behind the kit. All these guys are long time road veterans from very well known lists of bands. We’re definitely looking forward to playing with them. The shows over the weekend just as always is a testament that people love Ratt music as performed by us with our intensity , and with great replication emphasis on the interity that Ratt music be treated with. 35,000 people in Sturgis going nuts Thursday then Last night 10,000 going crazy at our performance full set, at Rockin the River festival was epic. It never gets old ! Much thanks, Best, Bobby B“

We’re extremely disappointed that we’ve been put in this position, but Brad Lang is currently on indefinite hiatus as he resolves some personal issues. In order to respect Brad’s privacy, we will not be going into any detail at this time. We thank you all for understanding the private nature of this situation. Meanwhile, with Brad’s blessing, Aaron Leigh (Frank Hannon Band) has stepped in to cover the role of bass guitarist.

Y&T Shreds The Gas Monkey Bar N’Grill!! – Dallas, TX 2/10/16
There aren’t a lot of bands still playing who were pioneers in hard rock and heavy metal, but Y&T is one of them and when they come around, I want to catch the show. I was happy to get the chance to see them in concert at the Gas Monkey Bar N’Grill in Dallas on February 10. I haven’t heard much about them lately as they’ve taken two hiatuses in the last few years and toured in Europe quite a bit.…
