Austin Police Department posted some pictures to their Facebook page yesterday (June 6) showing all of the thank you cards they’ve received that were clearly written by the same 2 people and magically delivered with no stamps or addresses.
This pat on the back was particularly ill-timed given that 20 year-old Justin Howell, whom APD shot in back of the head with a “non-lethal” round, is still in critical condition. 16 year-old Brad Levi Ayala, whom APD shot in the forehead with a “non-lethal” round, went home from the hospital on Friday with brain damage. Instead of apologizing, APD spent time pulling together this publicity stunt.
