What if, when a zombie ate someone's brains, they regained their humanity for just a minute or two, just long enough to hate themselves and become aware of everyone they had hurt.

Guys, guys...
I really think I wanna write this zombie necromancer call center story. But I can't decide on an MC. Should she be:
A. A corporate spy bent on discovering the secrets behind the low turnover and high efficiency of a rival call center, only to discover something she never thought she'd see?
B. An interdimensional being accidentally summoned to the zombie necromancer call center and cannot return until fulfilling the seemingly impossible contract of being both a zombie and high performing?
C. A gaggle of apprentice necromancers left to their own devices? (I think this is probably a given, but probably as secondary characters?)
D. A regular gal trying to get a damn job in a crappy economy & accidentally stumbles upon the zombie necromancer call center?
or E. A vampire who disguises himself as a zombie in order to get hired? I mean come on guys, blood bags are expensive...
Yesterday I put calamine lotion on some bug bites. A little later I could have sworn that I could smell this shower gel I use sometimes, but I hadn't showered recently (shut up, it's the weekend) and the only thing on my person that was giving off an odor was the calamine lotion. I've "misinterpreted" smells before so it wasn't that big of a deal. But for hours after that I kept smelling what I was sure was the shower gel. Which was kind of strange. But eventually I decided that my brain must have now locked in the misinterpretation. It was sticking to its story. This is hardly the first time I have told myself that my brain is lying to me. I first did it to deal with poor depth perception, and now it's a part of how I manage my depression. This morning I realized that a travel container with that shower gel in it had tipped over on my bathroom counter some time in the last few days. The counter is pretty crowded so it wasn't easy to see, and the gel got on a lot of other things that were on the counter. It is not inconceivable that when I picked up the calamine lotion some of the shower gel that was on it transferred to my clothing. It would also explain how the odor lasted so long, something I didn't think to question yesterday. There'll be no living with my brain now.
