Midnight Canidae ★ Leader

Klutzy yet confident! Energetic in everything they do, and determined to work hard. They want to get strong to stop "the bad pokemon". They aren't very trusting due to encounters with Team Skull and Drowzee. (Some may even call them a bit paranoid :3) They love bothering Chatot with questions, and loves chatting with the guild members.

Simon °𖦹｡ Impulse Control

Extremely shy, but ecstatic that he's finally joined Wigglytuff's Guild! Midnight's reckless nature makes him have to rush into situations (and make new friends).

Ever since his papa left he wanted to follow in his footsteps and explore abandoned ruins. He's also a ghost magnet, and "doesn't blame" his father for leaving. Once he found his 'weird stone' (relic fragment) washed up on the coast of beach cave, he took it as a sign of encouragement.

Constantly suffers from a stuffy nose, and seeks heat by sticking close to Midnight.

Vignette ꩜ Seer

Vignette is an absol who wants not only warn people of catastrophe, but prevent them all together. She was banished from her remote village once an attempt at prevention ended in an even worse catastrophe. She ran a long time until meeting Midnight near the Northern Desert.

With Midnight's guidance, perhaps they could help people

Patches ♤ Medium

One of the ghost types drawn to Simon for some reason. His fairy typing causes him to be unable to lie, so he often speaks in a round about way. He's taken an interest in Midnight due to how effective they are in not just defeating ghost types (easy for a dark type), but how they banish them.

Vignette is more than a little off put about this, but he's decided to join the team "for a while". He enjoys creating chaos and difficult situations in dungeons. A favorite past time is creating trouble with Midnight.

Thinking about all the kids in PMDverse who don't have anywhere to go. I think most of them would team up with another kid, call themselves a rescue team, and see if they can get room and board at Wigglytuffs.

I mean, Chatot says they don't have time for kids and there are SO many mentions of Pokemon running away. But. We never see that.

I think a lot of kids don't have a choice and either scrape by or get into the wrong crowd.

In my verse I think itd be cool to have a few more Guild Teams especially to up the stakes in the Expedition Selection Arc.

Maybe even an entire B3 dedicated to "amateur" teams (see: children) to relieve the stress of constant orphanings.

Thinking about Vignette and Midnight....how Vignette ran and ran and ran away from her home so she could never hurt anyone again. How she tries to make the visions of destruction stop but avoiding them makes them worse. Trying to prevent it makes it even more worse.

How Midnight reached out their paw to help someone suffering even when they're in their "Dusknoir is Lying and Everyone is Evil" paranoia spiral.

Vignette being petrified to accept Midnight's invitation to Polaris until one day. A vision comes and it's about Midnight....

Aria Village: one of the very first settlements after the Dark Future came to pass. Here's a look at some of the residents (some of them debut in my pinned post!)

Fennel (He/Him)

Due to the lack of sunlight, many grass types are abnormaly small. Fennel included. He's quick to run, and take those he cares with him. Can he slowly bloom in this new world?

Lizabelle (She/Her)

After her mother passed, Liza finally found company in Fennel. She's still very young. The dark future was very scary for her, as she could barely fend for herself. However, she eventually learned that hitting her club solves most dangers. How did she end up wandering to Vast Ice Mountain with such little legs? Leader of an "Unofficial" Rescue team called Team Graveyard.

Ruth (She/Her)

After such a long time in the snow wastes, mabe she's lost her mind? Ruth looks after most of the children, offering them shelter in her meager hovel. She has an odd, roundabout way of speaking (Celebi especially hates it). Many people don't understand her, but appreciate her efforts to help.

Elijah (He/They)

Though he doesn't look it, Elijah is a Very Tired Man. Ruth's partner and one of the few adult Pokemon sane enough to help rebuild. He's often Ruth's "translator", and speaks quite bluntly. He often contradicts himself in the same breath. A lot of his problems aren't his, but he wants to help.

Jami (He/It)

A borderline feral Pokemon. He's one of the many aggressive Pokemon blinded by fear. Still, he's learning to accept help from Ruth. Sometimes the Future Trio can see glimpses of him in the forest.

Gracie (She/It)

Jami's only companion. A little more friendly, and frequently plays with Liza. She's rather shy and needs to be invited to play. Most of the time she sits in silence with Jami. Sometimes she watches from afar. Lucy (She/Her)

Confused and lost, Lucy is one of the many Pokemon to be taken under Ruth's guidance. One of Liza's other team members. She frightens easily.
