My original digital art that I didn't know what to do with so I slapped a "fun" fact that haunts me on it and called it a day. Artist's block is real!
(P.S. Phagocytosis is a completely normal and essential function of a healthy brain. The concept just freaks me out.)

Do you…Do you guys think Scott Cawthon knows what a frontal lobe is? Do you guys know what the frontal lobe is? Because I feel like some people don’t know how much brain that is.
Like holy shit (Brain facts below the cut)
huh..
So basically, when you're dying, your brain is playing your best memories for 7 minutes, trying to remember the last time you were dying, to find a solution and save you, but it will never find it, because you have never died before in you life, so the brain is panicked and confused, looking for a solution to save you.
...
Guess that's all I will be thinking about in school today 🥲
Your brain literally can't process the present moment
You are never experiencing "right now." Your brain takes roughly 80 milliseconds to process sensory input. That means everything you see, hear, and feel is technically a reconstruction — a highlight reel your brain assembles *after* the fact. You are always living 80ms in the past. The "present moment" is a story your brain tells you. Reality, as you experience it, is already a memory. 🧠 We are all just watching the replay.
HIIIII!! :D
what’s your favorite fun fact and what’s next on your tbr/watch list ???
(hope u have a better day <3)
hi every time i go to answer this ask i literally think of a new fun brain fact and get excited but anywayyy
i am currently reading the perfect world of miwako sumida - my mum gave me the book because it has a trans girl in it. she's becoming more supportive it seems
i am also a book hoarding dragon and have so many books on my physical tbr it's daunting. i think next i'm either just going to pick at random, or finally read dead poets society (love the film, only just got the book)
i don't really watch a lot of things tbh because i get bored easily. but i'm currently watching move to heaven and house md
as for fun facts, i have spent much too long writing up some of my favourite brain facts under the cut! (so you don't have to read through them all if you don't want!
