okay but you know what I’m thinking? tight ponytails make the hairline push back and scream, which leads towards fucking it up and balding, so imagine if young to young adult victor has just grown so used to doing his ponytails as tight and perfect as his quads that he doesn’t realize the damage he’s doing until he watches some random hairstyle video on youtube and they mention it and he just FREAKS. he spends the next 3h prodding and touching his hairline and crying into his phone to the annoyance and amusement of chris on the other end, and when the meltdown ends, it’s chris’ silly joke that gives him hope.

“why not cut it all then?” chris says, and it’s exactly what victor does the next day.

and, actually, it feels really fucking good, so he sticks with it and lets his hairline breathe, because how is he supposed to find love with hairline halfway up his head? impossible.

(he finds it anyway. and it’s not thanks to the hair.)
