3:if you could take claim for any invention, which would it be?
composition notepads, for some reason.
4:radio or mp3?
mp3, i’m so particular about listening to certain music at certain times. sometimes i can shuffle/radio it, but honestly i can’t do that very often. recently i’ve just been putting deadmau5 albums on repeat (and it’s very sacrilegious to splice up a deadmau5 album don’t you know)
15:if you could only repeat words said by one person, who would you want to be echoing?
man…for a long time in my life i repeated encouraging words in my head in Eric Bossick’s voice (voice of Henry Townshend from sh4 which may sound ridiculous but they’re honestly personal reasons). right now i am enchanted equally by David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson’s voices, they would be comforting. and, Melanie Tran’s French-speaking voice, it’s smooth and deep and easy to listen to. really easy to listen to.
16:do you like feeling tall?
i am 5′1′’ you bastard of course i do. of course i do.
33:van gogh or michelangelo?
van gogh by a really far long shot. bold bright colors. my old phone case broke (RIP shapes and colors lion) and the one i have now is starry night. i guess that’s pretty standard, but yes, van gogh; and i have stark memories of seeing his paintings in the minneapolis institute of arts as a child. those are the only paintings i really remember seeing there apart from some of monet’s haystacks.
35:how do you pronounce ‘crayon’?
“cran”. i will over-enunciate Cray-yon for dramatic effect if need be, but i barely pronounce the y o in it.

Death eaters?
Ah, I’m sorry, I meant banshee as in her powers revolve around her voice, the pitch and screaming and bellowing it to stun an enemy, not banshee as in literal ghost. Stuff like that branches a little too far into the “pure magic” instead of “pseudoscience” which is more what I’m aiming for. So not a magical creature, just powers and abilities.
EDIT: HAHAHAHA IT’S OKAY i guess i read it as dementors instead of death eaters anyways WHOOPS

How long did you learn Japanese?
FUNNILY ENOUGH, I actually said this tidbit of information in Japanese! I’ve been studying for about 7 years now, although this last year has been pretty slow since I’ve been moving around a lot so I’ve been taking what i can get talking to people fluent in Japanese.
I don’t often type in Japanese because it’s a hassle and it’s also the reason I can’t read a newspaper: Hiragana and Katakana are easy, but the kanji, that’s where you can royally fuck up, and that’s what makes reading Japanese quite difficult from time to time. I’d rather not accidentally say “i scratch my crotch” over “i’ll write again (which is actually a very closely related phrase in Japanese) so more often than not I refrain despite it being good practice for me 8T;;;

You can use this for discounts!
You have a vehement misunderstanding of how this affects my daily life and how the affects are more often than not not in my favor.

You liked Voyager and Enterprise?
I unabashedly love Star Trek.
I grew up with it, watching the reruns, episodes, movies, whathaveyou. I don't care what season it was and I prefer to not get into "which one was the best" because each season had its merits and each season had characters I would jump into space for. (Whoops, that might have hit a little too close to home, huh, Mr. Data)
I do have my reservations and disapprovals of the new movies for my own personal reasons. I know some Star Trek fans that love the movies. To each their own. But that's the only place where my love for Star Trek kind of dwindles out. (Or, rather, it fires up so much that I criticize the shit out of the new movies.)
Right now I'm done going through my dash and as more Leonard Nimoy posts pop up I'll probably reblog them. For now, I'm done, I'm going to have breakfast and contemplate watching some movies/Star Trek episodes while working.
