Kara and Querl finding out the gender of their second child and deciding on what to name them
Comes after this

“How about James?” Kara suggested as they walked out of the doctor’s office.
Querl scrunched his nose in thought. “As much as I cherish my friendship with James, I prefer not to name our little one after him.”
“Yeah that’s fair. What about Oliver or Barry?” Kara mused and laughed at the face he was giving her. “I’m kidding, I’m kidding. I think their ego would go through the roof if we named him after them.”
“How about Aten,” Querl mused.
“I’m not naming my son after an asteroid group. And or any of stars or space,” she quickly added before Querl could suggest another name. “As much as I love the stars Brainy, I’d like him to have a name that we all like.”
Querl nodded and continued thinking. “There are a lot of names to pick from.”
“That there is,” Kara agreed.
“Conner,” Querl said after a moment of silence.
“Mm?”
“What about Conner? There are two meanings to the name but I prefer wisdom, counsel and strength. Which he’ll get from you.”
Kara stopped and tugged Querl’s hand to stop him. “It’s not just me he’s getting it from. You’re all those things and more, Brainy. And he’s lucky that your his father. As is Alura. You mean so much to the both of us and our little boy will feel the same.”
“I’m just afraid I’ll mess something else and he’ll hate me,” he whispered. Kara cupped his cheek and rubbing circles with her thumb.
“I was the same when Alura’s due date came closer. But I was reminded that all I can do is try my hardest to be the best mother for her that I can. And to hope that she turns out just as beautiful. I have to admit, there were time’s where I struggled but I wasn’t alone. We’ll figure this out together and we always will. Besides, you’re doing just fine with Alura.”
Querl gave her a smile before leaning in to kiss her forehead. “You my love, are the greatest person I’ve ever met.”
“Ooh, don’t let Alura hear you say that. There may be consequences,” she teased glad her could brighten his mood.
“Speaking of consequences, I believe we promised a certain Flying Monkey pizza for supper.”
Kara moaned at the thought of having pizza. She was hungry. “And we promised her to tell her what the baby’s gender is.”
“That we did. Come on, let’s get the food first before we head home. You look like you could eat all the food that National City holds.”
