In addition to traditional Brainspotting applied by a clinician to a client/athlete there is the concept of selfspotting. As part of the Performance Neuro training process for sports performance expansion I have athletes spend 10-30min daily detraining their brain and body of the day’s life stressors as well as the negative aspects of their sports specific training and or difficult strength and conditioning exercises. As Dr. Robert Scaer MD neurologist says once the brain and body learns how to do something it will continue to do it.
